Convert UK BRP to E-Visa NOW | Step-by-step guide | You MUST register for new eVisa ASAP #ukvisa
If you are in the UK on a visa (a Youth Mobility Scheme visa, Family visa, ANY UK visa!) you MUST register for a new eVisa that will replace all Biometrics Residence Permits. It's best to complete this process BEFORE your BRP expires in December 2024. I'll walk you through the entire process, start to finish.

Hello, i just got my graduate visa 2 days ago. I logged into my ukvi account using my previous brp details, in the identity document section has been updated automatically with my new brp number and expiry date is of the old one. Is that a mistake ?

I have done everything and also received the mail from ukvi with link but when i click the link and enter the details a page appears that you are already login. After a while it shows me we cannot show you the evisa. Whats that problem?

Yes hopefully we won’t need our physical cards, it should be online. But if you’re travelling outside UK before 31st December 2024, I think it might to best to still just carry the physical card with you. As there might be some overlap between the online systems and physical cards. Hope it helps! 😊

Your e-visa is for exit and returning to the UK only, flying out to another country you will need your passport and any relevant visa that may be needed by the said country..

I’m on leave to remain holding my BRP. I received the email from home office to create my e- visa account which I have done following the step by step instructions. My question is how can my dependants ( kids) get that e visa when home office only has my email address and invites only me to create that account and e visa? Thanks .

Yes you don’t need to wait for the email. This is because Home Office death say that by the summer they would start rolling out a general form for everybody, irrespective of the emails.

@PhysiotherapyInUK just randomly paranoid people who had their visas renewed and spoke of 2nd hand info received. Anyways, nothing to worry about because bolstered by your video, I have as of 20min ago successfully got my evisa linked and have even seen it online. Thank you for inspiring confidence in impatient people like me. 👍

@rutendop3226 it's not readily visible. When you're asked to validate this chip place your phone on your brp and slowly move it around until your phone beeps or vibrates. At this point stop touching the phone and keep it resting on the brp until the progress bar goes all the way to the end.

In March - June 2024, the Home Office is running a small-scale ‘private beta’ launch by email invitation to a small number of BRP holders to help develop and ensure an optimal customer experience. Only BRP holders who receive an email invitation need to take action at this stage. If you have not yet been contacted about creating an account, you’ll be able to create your account and access your eVisa later in 2024. Sign up for updates on this page to keep up to date on when you’ll be able to access your eVisa.

It is the same for me. I checked on this one and we are supposed to continue using our physical BRP card till 31 Dec 2024. The eVisa will start showing once we get closer to this date.

Your BRP number should stay the same. It is not only your BRP, but actually your Visa number as well & that is more important.

Can you please help me this. I have now successfully created UKVI account but it says that YOU HAVE NO OPEN APPLICATIONS. And when I opened the UK Immigration app also it is asking me to scan the QR code or enter the code which I don't have any. Please try to help me how do I link and view my E-visa to UKVI account.
