Hi guys and welcome back to yasminecollects! Today we're talking about converting VHS to digital. I've done DVD to VHS and now I'm here to convert some more! This video is intended to reach a wider audience- as in people trying to digitize their old home movies.

@@MakarovFox If you think my content is mediocre then go be pretentious ✨elsewhere✨ ❤️💖 I’ve seen v’s video and watched his channel long before I made content. I appreciate the depth in which he covers topics. I’m still gonna use it. I work a full time job, I’m a drag performer, I have student loans and a limited budget, I have other priorities. The list goes on for myself and lots of other people. That’s life outside of the internet.

This is video you used to work with is freakishly funny coincidentally I was just on another channel discussing planting flowers. Weird. Recently I actually bought a dvd recorder that records tv with blank dvds and when I plug my vhs player into the dvd recorder I record my tapes onto blank dvds. It’s a Panasonic DMR-EZ27 DVD Recorder.

One of the few reasons to dislike new technology sometimes. If a VHS player is tracking poorly or it can't find a video sync, Capture cards or LCD TV's just blank the signal and doesn't display it until it is becomes stable enough. Sometimes an advantage of having a CRT is that they don't blank the signal no matter what. Also was the end clip recorded with the Panasonic, the buzzing at the end sounded like HiFi-audio buzz as it was trying to stabilize the track and I know your Magnavox is Mono. If not it could be just that the tape is really bad. 😅

Panasonic recorded and yup it was trying to find the Hifi, however it buzzed on the Magnavox too. The capture card didn’t blank once I moved it to the Panasonic, idk why that magnavox is so sensitive but it blacks out so often if the tape has a spec of dust on there

Absolutely nothing wrong with that Elgato video capture, there’s a load worse out there put it that way. 👍

Tracking can be adjusted manually to save the audio.

Cool! I have the same adapter and MacBook Air. But I’ve cleaned my MacBook up and it runs Ventura.

This one is my partners and he refuses to let me wipe it 😂 I’d like to see if I could get Linux on that beast

Easy to use and not too bad if viewed on a small phone screen, yes, but there are a lot better options out there if the quality of the video and audio are important to you - though the other methods do require more steps and hard drive space in the end.

Help. What kind of VCR or additional equipment I should look for if I need get best out from tape recorder in SECAM D or K system. It has weird colour glitches and I also heard that TBC is not working with SECAM?
