The bed looks great. Great craftsmanship for sure I'd put the cross-brace in. A 4-foot span may not seem to big but if you're gonna put large/heavy stuff in centre of this bed, the extra support would be a good thing to have. Look forward to the next one. Be safe and stay well.

Yes you should put a center brace in there Arco! The boards should be braced every 24'" on center. The gussets on the back should be at least half way down the vertical frame of the hitch coming up on an angle to the bottom of the bed frame. Looking good!
