Thank you, that was very helpful and informative. The part about how students with 4.0 GPA but failed to get a job because they did not have any internship or co-op as a student experience was sad and an eyeopening. In order to be successful engineer, as a student, one cannot bury himself in books only, but find an opportunity to apply what they have learned.

Great video. I love it. I watched this video as part of an assignment, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Seems very helpful. Thanks Dr. Wilson.

Over 3k views and no comments? Well I'm about to go back through my resume with this video as a guide and see where I've been going wrong.

Anyone notice the video was published in 2012 but the resumes have 2014 and 2015 dates?

Watching this video just convinced me it's impossible to get a job, teaches me how to write a resume and then says "yeah they most likely will never read your resume, if they do it's barely for 10 seconds and even if yours is 'good' it'll just sound like all the others cause "key words" all come from the same job posting" so what is the main takeaway of this video? Write a great resume and if you never get an interview it's your fault?
