Every Sunday after church I fix lunch for my husband and extended family - parents, brother, sister and niece, and mother-in-law. My niece (13 years old) and I always bake a cake from the Cake Mix Dr. book. It’s been a highlight of the meals. I was cleaning out the kitchen cupboards last week and found my trifle dish!! Guess what our next cake is going to be!!!

Love trifle. I use angel food cake instead of pound cake for a little lighter cake and prefer whipping cream over Cool Whip. Sometimes I have also include a fruit jam layer under the fruit layer and love mixing some Sherry in my fruit too. Either way you can’t go wrong. 😊

Yum! I've made a trifle similar to this....used everything you did, but not the white chocolate pudding (used cool whip only for the layers). I will have to try this with the white chocolate pudding!

This looks so good. But if I made it, no one would get to eat it. It’s too cute. And the first person to get into it would mess it up. My sister in law used to make trifles. I don’t have a trifle bowl or pan. I’m not even sure what it’s called. I may have to try this for my family. I’m sure it’s better than the dirt cake I usually make. Not as much sugar. And I could make banana pudding in it. I love that too. And my grandkids love fruit. So I know they would love it.
