“There are different ways to kill a cat” it’s the main statement in the video. If you paid attention you would’ve heard that I am making a different version of chakalaka because I’m showing different ways to make it, thank you for your suggestion though. The carrot version is on my previous Sunday Kos video

But that is how we refer to it as most South African dear 🤷‍♀️ Relatability is important, dombolo is the common name for steam bread..

@@dineomothI get where @lizzywilliams5233 is coming from. In KZN steamed bread that is made in a separate pot is called ujeqe. Dombolo are steamed in the stew.

Yeah. This Ujeqe(steamed bread). Idombolo(dumplings) are cooked together with meat/stew.
