Grace, your reaction is priceless when the wind closed the car door behind you. Also when you were getting food under the bed in your fridge and you paused to stare back at the camera twice. We all appreciate your authenticity.

Put me in any weather and I will bear it but add heavy winds to it and I will be miserable. Despite having the wind shut the door on you and changing your original plans, you have such a great spirit! Breakfast looked great given the fact that it was cooked on the center console and with no olive oil 😄

Grace taught me how to switch from a regular refrigerator to a 15 quart portable refrigerator just by putting everything in plastic bags, even milk and juice. Cost savings are amazing and everything fit. She's amazing.

Dream Lake is beautiful; been there many times. Fairly long hike from Bear Lake so good job with your pack loaded. In the summer that trail is really busy; it was nice you had the trail to yourself. Thanks for taking us along.

Always keep the kid in you alive. It was great when you were sliding down the snow and what a unique way to crack your eggs against the car window. I got a good laugh on that. Yes, I’m one of the ones I can crack an egg on each hand at the same times. Thanks for sharing.

Amazed that the eggs survived the hike! In 2012, I sent a French-press coffeemaker (traditionally glass) to a young Marine in Afghanistan and it broke before the first firefight. After Tim received the Nissan stainless steel French-press (along with Wisconsin maple syrup), no more breakage although it got dented pretty badly. Are the ice spikes Kahtoola? They're great! They saved me from another - three so far - concussion. Did the camp stove heat damage the center console cover?

I actually like syrup on my eggs over anything else.. Welcome to Colorado where ya never know what your gona get. Use the grease from the sausage to cook the potatoes.
