We LOVE boiled peanuts and have been craving them lately. We're experimenting with different South African spices/seasonings to see if it will be a success, making them ourselves... for the FIRST time. This experiment also consists of a pressure cooker that we've NEVER used before! Fun...fun! 🤗🤭😁

Iboilfresh peanuts with salt. Use beans on med pressure for 40 mins with lid on

Those are roasting peanuts,therefore, it is hard. You can buy fresh peanuts for boiling from Indian veg stores. Nagiah's in Midrand should have.

They are sold in the street corners in some areas...but just plain cooked with salt only

The rain and thunder is very soothing to me. This is the first I've ever heard of boiled 🥜 eith garlic, onions and meat. I've heard of bouled 🥜 but never tried it.

Boiled peanuts is big in South Carolina. They still sell them on the streets, with various seasonings. The ppl there (Gullah ppl - Gullah Gullah island) been doing that for centuries ❤ most black Americans in Florida, Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey comes have roots with Gullah culture and foods ❤

We do have Turkey at our supermarkets like Picknpay, Checkers and Spar but you need to ask for it, they normally keep at the back of the store..
