We had a family of 7 and an Italian mother who could cook. We also had a 120 acre farm in SE Wisconsin with a huge garden. I didn't realize how lucky I was growing up to eat incredible meats, fruits and vegatables, all organic way before that was cool, just how we farmed back then. I go to farmer's markets these days.
