Nah they just taste like salted potatoes lmao. Even mashed potatoes taste better 💀. You could just take boiled/mashed potatoes and eat them with ketchup. Or go through all this effort for the same taste

@@leadharsh0616no way dude The texture of the fried skin, the mix of cornstarch to flour to baking powder ratio, or whatever you use, and then if you finally bread them, whatever you do... When fried they are delicious. French fries, waffle fries, potato chips, all of them have diff textures and I prefer curly fries over straight. Fr not the same as mashed potatoes with gravy.

I think if flavorings such as black pepper, garlic powder, curry leaves, thyme or dill had been added, the taste would have been distinctive.

I’d cook the potatoes using broth and make sure to put some seasoning in them when mashing them. That would help the flavor palette for sure!

Potato candy! It’s three ingredients, peel and boil a russet potato mix in powdered sugar slowly until you make a dough (I think it’s like 2-4cps) then you just roll it out, spread on a whole jar of peanut butter and finally roll it up into a big log. You could technically eat it right away but it is best enjoyed frozen overnight and then sliced into little spiral cookie sized pieces. The boiled potato acts as both the liquid and the structure (like flour or starch would) and the coolest part is that when you’re like halfway through adding the powdered sugar the whole mix looks like it has melted. They’re really delicious but would definitely give you a sugar rush, enjoy!

Pommes aligot. I was so mesmerized watching people eat it , I asked for pommes aligot and KFC a chicken for Mother’s Day. My husband complained but he made them- and they were SPECTACULAR!!
