Fun fact for Quan and anyone else interested! 👇 When cutting an onion, wet some paper towel and keep it on the cutting board. The acidity from onions gravitate towards water. So instead of hitting your tear ducts it'll seep towards the wet paper towel instead! I do this all the time and it literally works sooo good! 💕

@@camille98ttI’m a woman and am also too lazy to learn how to cook. I just microwave and cook premade stuff. This has little to do with men and more to do with individuals. More women just cook because they’re practically enforced to. My mother pressures me to cook much more than she ever does my brother. But she also pressures my father. But it’s obvious women be pushing gender norms sometimes when they really shouldn’t. Southern men are ALWAYS cooking. That’s why barbecues are so significant in the first place. Men somehow think cooking outside is more manly than cooking in a kitchen 😅

Crying when cutting an onion only happens when your knife isn’t super sharp. When it’s not very sharp, it causes the onion juice to extract more into the air, causing you to cry. When we sharpen our knives to be extra sharp, that allows you to have clean cuts. Less pressure applied by using a sharp knife, which results in onion juice staying put
