Quick & Easy homemade lasagna recipe without ricotta or parmesan cheese. But The taste is unbeatable. guaranteed.
I've seen this 100-hour lasagna recipe. but who can wait 100 hours to eat lasagna? I can't even wait until it cools down Lol.
lasagna/lazanya is an Italian dish made of stacked layers of thin flat pasta alternating with fillings such as ragù (ground meats and tomato sauce) and other vegetables, cheese, and seasonings and spices such as garlic, oregano and basil. The dish may be topped with melted grated mozzarella cheese. Typically, the cooked or oven-ready pasta is assembled with the other ingredients and then baked in an oven. The resulting lasagne casserole is cut into single-serving square portions.
Ingredients:
For the meat sauce:
3 tbsp of olive oil
a mix of basil, thyme, parsley, rosemary 1 tbsp or dry Italian seasoning 2 tsp
1 large onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp of chilli flakes
black pepper ½ tsp
salt to taste (around 1tsp )( remember that cheddar cheese is salty)
ground meat 1 kg (beef or mutton)
chopped tomatoes 800g
water to cook for 30 minutes
For bechamel /white sauce:
butter 4 tbsp
flour 4 tbsp
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of salt
cold milk 3 cups

Tried this yesterday for dinner and it was divine. I stored the leftovers in the fridge covered with foil and reheated a piece in the microwave with damp kitchen towels on top for 2 minutes for lunch today and it was delicious! Super easy to make too. Thank you for the recipe.

@@syri8766 I didn’t intentionally add water to the sauce. But, I did rinse the tomato cans with some water to get everything out. That’s the only time water is added.

Discovered your recipe a year ago and its so simple and everyone loves it. Not boiling the lasagna sheets has changed my life. Not being Italian, i never know what time ti actually take it out of the water. Even the normal lasagne sheets (can't find no-boil sheets in my country) bake perfectly without boiling first for this recipe. I do dip them in water first but no soaking and no boiling + the amazing ready made kdd bechamel sauce=amazing time saver.

Thanks for the video, my lasagna was much better after following some of these steps. I always put the pasta in hot water to make it soft, but now that's not necessary. The lasagna turned out great 👏

I used turkey sausage instead of ground meat. Loved this recipe! Not over sauced like American style. Reminded me of when I was stationed in Aviano AFB Italy.

I just finished making this dish I'll update when it's done cooking it looks so delicious!!! (Update) the lasagna turned out pretty good i just needed to put some sugar to the tomato sauce cause it was too acidic and i had heartburns, besides that it was pretty good also if you are going to use precooked lasagna make the sauce a little watery so the lasagna sheets can finish cooking otherwise they are going to be dry

hello! i tried this for the first time at home and it turned out to be amazing. i had an issue with the lasagna sheets though.it was kinda semi hard. i guess we need to soften them a little bit (in warm water) before layering. overall it was all good! especially the taste.

They sell oven ready noodles. They cook during baking. There is a difference. Always check they say “oven ready noodles”. 🙂
