Ingredients:
4 Slices of bread
Unsalted butter 1tbsp
Honey 1tbsp
The right amount of Sesame seeds
Olive oil 1tbsp
Salt 1/4tsp
Garlic powder 1tsp
Parsley flakes 1/2tsp

I would totally make this but I am always looking for shortcuts. I would have brushed the bread before I sliced it. :) Then finished the recipe. Thanks for the idea

Quick suggestion: I made these, and they were delicious, but the parsley ones didn’t need salt. If you like salt, make it without salt, taste it, and if you want sprinkle a bit on. The garlic powder gives off such a strong taste, so the salt isn’t good with it. Other than that, this is delicious and easy

Hi Helly, this recipe brings me back to my childhood days when my mum used to sprinkle sugar on left over bread n bake them n we enjoyed them. Your recipe is at least a level or two up n much more interesting than just sugar crystals. I'm certainly going to try it. Thanks for this revised version. Take care n keep well.

We used to have ours with cinnamon sugar as a treat occasionally! This was close to 60 years ago and it's obviously still a 'thing" as I see pre-blended cinnamon and sugar in the stores. Lazy. I mean - how hard is it to mix it up yourself? SMH
