How To Make A Fabric Book Start to Finish - Tutorial - Slow Stitch Journal & Autumn Stitchery Flip Through
This is my favourite way to keep my slow stitched art. I have posted a video in the past showing how I make these books, but here’s another one.
You can find my other fabric book video here
• How To Make A Fabric B...
I used an accordion fold to make this book. There are other ways to make fabric books but I prefer this method. You could actually make the accordion and then stitch your pages directly on it. Stitch the pages together and add a cover when you’re done.
To make a fabric book you can use all felt or fabric. Felt is good because you don’t need to hem any edges.

I made signatures and bound them like in a journal. Took a bit of fussing getting everything to line up...front and back. Even used invisible thread so a lot of it wouldn't show. Came out ok but a smidge wonky.@@cookingjennfer

Hello Night Owl, I found you channel and have not been able to stop watching. I love everything you've done. You make it look so calming and relaxing as slowing stitching shold be. This is my favorite video, putting your fabric book together. I just put you playlist on and play all. Your music is the best, I think that's what makes me keep watching, the music is relaxing as well. Your techniques are simple and easy, again as slow stitching should be. Please keep making these great videos with the perfect music. I am telling everyone I know, and sending them over to your channel, no pressure, just keep doing it your way. Happy 2024!
