Yeah, anyone that sharpens a knife backwards is a serial killer. They are in fact, not even sharpeners, they are straighteners. They straighten the micro teeth on a knife’s edge. Every knife under a microscope looks like a saw. The point of using a steel is to straighten the bent ones by acting like ur spreading butter un the steel with ur knife edge.
