There are 2 different Belgian waffles, both very good! Liege waffles have yeast and big sugar pearls. The non-yeast is almost a cookie like recipe.

I did not know that. I thought when they said Belgian waffles, it’s just crunchy on on the outside, fluffy inside. So does the sugar pearl melts inside after cooking?

@@--harry_I heard a chef say the real original Belgian waffles have beet powder on them to make them crispy right before they're finished cooking not sugar pearls

3 cups AP flour ¼ cup sugar ¾ cosher salt 7g instant dry years ½ cup warm milk max. 110 3 eggs 2 TSP vanilla extract 10 minutes ¾ cup soft butter 5 minutes rise 1 -2 hours ¾ cup perl sugar 8 pieces bake toppings

Ive been making liege waffles for 7 years. They are absolutely Killer. My daughters love eating and making(adding the pearl sugar and sneaking pearls) lol

❤but it looks so good, never had belly waffles. Looks mouth watering I don’t have any extra kitchen appliances. Never had a stand mixer or air fryer you know all the fancy stuff. One day maybe if not ..never meant to be❤❤❤❤Love all you videos by the way 😊
