The one from Africa is actually from North Africa, where an old and beautiful country named Tunisia is located, a couple of hundred miles away from Europe. That land has thousands of years of old, rich tradition of producing olive oil since the Roman Empire and even before, just like the regions around the Mediterranean Sea.

I believe they say that Tunisian is amongst the best. Highest in polyphenols, antioxidants, etc. The harsher climate stresses the plants more and makes them produce more of these compounds in return. Which just happens to be the stuffs that are good for us

The name of that olive oil from Tunisia is Terra Delyssa . It sold in my local grocery store in Virginia for 10 dollars , on sale 4 months ago , when it first appeared on the shelf. It now sells for twenty dollars . It reads on the bottle Gold Award Best olive oil in the world 2023 . The earlier bottles in the store read the same, but 2022 . Apparently the testers for that competition like it .

For information, I'm from North Africa and Algeria, and Tunisia are big producers of olive oil. olives are big in those countries.

Terra Delyssa ( Yellow horse ) from Tunisia is the one i been buying and i love it '. Very fragrant and way higher in quality. I traced the oil and it is grown only in Tunisia unlike other brands that are blended from Italian,Spanish,Greek...

totally agree. I started using it last year after a doctor on YT recommended EVO from Tunisia in particular because of higher polyphenols. At last check, my bad cholesterol dropped significantly compared to a year ago (within normal range now). Very tasty oil too, plus, most importantly, organic

That Tunisian olive oil is the ultimate gold standard. My mum used to make olive oil at home, so I know what fresh and raw quality olive oil tastes like.

The brand name of the African-(Tunisian) olive oil is - (Terra Delyssa). It is sold by Costco Canada. The price is excellent for the (2 litres) of this superb quality extra virgin olive oil. The Taste is extremely well balanced and once you try it - taste it you feel you want to use it with every dish you prepare.

Tunisian OO is my only "pain pill" for years now. 3 TBSP's on an empty stomach for pain from chronic inflammation.

Tunisian 🇹🇳 olive oil is the best in the world, mastered and nurtured since the era of Hannibal Barca of The Empire of Carthage to this day. Long time before, even Roma wasn't a village. Also in Geneva European competition from 7 to 9th May 2024, Tunisia came first collecting 32 medals in total.

We started buying quality olive oil and noticed a difference. Pressed and packaged where they’re picked makes a great oil. The Terra Delyssa from North Africa is has a nice taste.

In Tunisia, the olive tree is loved and looked after like a baby. The olive tree is not genetically modified. The Tunisian olive oil has gained awards all the times. Spain, Italy, Greek buy Tunisian olive oil to use it to flavor their olive oils.

Terra de Lyssa own their own olive orchards and their olive oil is sourced only from there. They do not use a blend of olive oils from various different sources.

Great video, Ivo. I like Ellora Farms organic and traceable EVOO. It’s from the Koroneiki variety olive from Greece. It has that get you in the back of the throat peppery flavor.
