Hi, I’ve never worked with acrylics or gel extensions on, but the one time I did grow my natural nails out and try to shape them nicely, I found I kept accidentally marking the backs of my pieces when I picked them up. I’m not sure if it was just because i’m used to keeping my nails short and wasn’t being aware of my longer nails, but I did find myself making more mistakes and cutting them short again. I also personally find that it’s easier to do detailed/ finicky work with shorter nails. But again, that could just be because I’ve always had short nails and am not used to having long nails. I think it would come down to personal preference and what you’re used to. Thanks! Karen

@@cooltoolsvideos thank you! Always appreciated 🙏🏼🫶🏻 I’d find when soldering pieces (what I’m used to, as opposed to working w clay) they would make it more difficult. Was wondering if it might also be a challenge or perhaps be easier. Guess I may try it but most likely I will have them short too lol
