Thanks for the review. I am looking on replacing my barely working anymore Logitech H540 with a new wireless headset, and was split between the SteelSeries Arctis 7 or Audio-Technica ATH-G1WL. After seeing this review, and a few others I may have a new one to check.

This one or Arctis 7? been searching for a good wireless gaming headphone.. Im more on the bass type. I think comfort wise, Arctis 7 since uve mentioned the headband thing. Howbout the sound quality in terms of listening to music and ofcourse gaming ( I play Battlefield 1,4, and 5 also Warzone)

Im planning to buy one but still have a few question so here it is: 1. If you use 3.5mm jack, do you still need to charge it in order to use it? 2. How long does it take to charge the headset full? 3. Can you disable the 7.1 surround sound in Coolermaster software? 4. What kind of cable does it use to charge? 5. Is it possible to change the ear cups and the headband? (I would rather use mesh fabric instead of leather cause it lasts longer) That’s all of the question I have for now Thank you for taking notice if you do read this. Prefer battery life to RGB lighting functionality, so not a big deal. The option would be nice, but I think the cost add isn't worth it for most consumers.

I wasnt happy with the Mic quality of the MH670 when compared to the Hyperx CloudX (dont hate if this uncommon) but is there a way of making proprietary mics into adaptable any party mic? So i can use say the headphones of these MH670 but the mic of a Cloud X?

Does anyone know if the mic quality on the 670 improves when used in wired mode? the 670 mic definitely sounds worse than its cheaper wired brothers 650 and 630 but they are supposed to be the same mic.

Since this is a wireless headset with a wired option, it would've been REEEAAAALLLLYYY nice to also have a mic test on wired to see if the quality improves. The lower wired MH630/650 have some of the best mics for cheap gaming headsets.

Great quality video. Mic sounded worse than the 751 from yesteryear, but I also heard it’s the same unit. Have you experienced both and is there a noticeable difference? For only $20 more than a 751, it makes sense to go wireless but I want the best mic possible.

from what I have heard the mic is the exact same on the 752/752 aswell as the 630/650/670. The only reason the 670 sounds worse is because it is wireless so there is less bandwidth to transmit the sound data as opposed to a wired connection

630 much better but it's wired. 670 is wireless. If you use 3.5mm on 670 you have a very good mic , and btw use 630 earcup on 670 for long use. Your welcome

For anyone who cares I returned these because the mic is ass on these when used wireless. The range on these is not good imo also. Trying the cloud flight next. If this dont work I might just stick with corsair and go to the void elite. I am coming from the void pro and these have been pretty good.

COOLER MASTER has H.phones ??? hm... :) need to confess, when I say good sound quality, first I think about Sennheiser , or JBL or similar ... (ofc, mid range quality, not TOP above $1000) so I was wondering, which one you would choose this one or JBL 660 NC live ? I am planning to use Wireless (or Bluetooth) for work (MS Teams in most occasions, Discord.... around 80% of time) and for gaming (CS:GO only, dont play other games, around 5-10%) and music (10-15% of total time) so would you recommend these of JBL ? I like to have a good sound quality when listening to music, ... but also have "versatile" headphones :))) thx in advance, and very good review btw ;)

Hey Haurije & Community. I need your Help please. The Headset only works in wireless mode. - on 3,5mm it only works 1 side of the headphone (left one) + the mic doesnt show up on any software like Discord, Skype etc. no matter what. I tried nearly everything. If I am wireless - everything works *sighs* But i want the full experience, so i want to use it wired too. - WHAT CAN I DO ? LOL. pretty much helpless right now.. Much appreciated. Thanks.

This sounds like a Cooler Master support thing, it's possible your unit might be faulty. Ask them about it and also if it is faulty, get an RMA. EDIT: I think 3.5mm is not detectible in the app/software. Because software usually needs more power and data than that, hence why USB (wired or wireless) is required. As for the 3.5mm only working on the left side, do you mean you only hear sound coming out of the left earcup?

Earpads are not replaceable I don't think. Sound quality is about the same to the Artcis

Earpads ARE replaceable. I removed the stock pads and attached thicker Brainwavz third party pads. Now they are super comfortable for super long sessions

@@baldino9165 They are not glued, you can remove them easily by stretching them. It is exactly like any of the Hyperx cloud headset. You can buy more breathable cloth pads, I recommend Brainwavz (only cuz thats the ones I use, but there are prob other good brands). HOWEVER, I do not recommend it. Sound signature between leather-ish and cloth-ish (like velour) pads are very different. Leather pads are more close and has way more bass. Velour is more open and have less bass. I bought velour as my first pad for the hyperx cloud flight. And I instantly regretted it. I lost sooo much bass (however they were super comfortable and breathable). I quickly bought a new set of pads made of sheepskin. Altough I really like the open signature of cloth-pads, some headset are just not built for cloth-pads. And like the hyperx cloud flight, the MH670 sounds much better with leather pads. You get a bit sweaty yes, but the bass is worth it imo.

Wow. Not a F@(king thing about how to connect wireless to the PC. How to turn on the set. Not a single operational instruction on the use or wireless instruction/connection to a PC. This video came up as first on how to install, connect and operate the Cooler Master MH670 Headset. I have seen a lot of useless videos on KZfaq but in my opinion, this video on the "KZfaq helping videos" is the most useless video on here thus far. I hope and pray that you aren't monetized on KZfaq for how to/instructional videos.
