I find it hypocritical how Sam Register said that this show was a bad idea, yet he approves of Teen Titans Go!

This show definitely should have got more attention. After two days of watching it I could say I was definitely hooked, despite its flawed.

I salute you for choosing this as your special review, and for the most part, I agree with you 100%. This show is underrated by the fact it was supposedly marketed to be the Looney Tunes as superheroes, when it should have been a entirely separate universe with allusions and meta-references to Looney Tunes. Perhaps if they were given more time and effort with the story and even the animation frames, and twist up the show as something more of the satirical, anti-hero, Deadpool motif (and the right balance of seriousness and humor), this show could have become something more. Had the production pressed further into the series I also would've loved to see a mature shift (again with the alternate universe), more complex themes and a further development with team/character dynamics (and yes, the fangirls and fanboys would agree with you that the 'friendly' relationship between Rev and Tech are top-notch canon. Yes I support it whole-heartedly too. Guilty) Regardless, good job with the review and here's to you for being one of the few willing to review and enjoy Loonatics from a balanced, but personally positive perspective.

Thank you for touching upon the one aspect about Loonatics Unleashed that has always annoyed me. The fact that Duck is unfairly kicked around in practically every episode. Daffy is often thrown under the bus, but it only happens because he brings it on himself. Duck is often belittled, mocked, etc by mainly Lexi and Zadavia. The problem is, he's done nothing wrong most of the time. A good example can be found in "It Came from Outer Space" in which Lexi messes up and starts a war between Mars and Acmetropolis. The only way for the conflict to end is if Lexi hands herself over to Melvin the Martian and actually accepts that it's her fault that all this happened. Duck agrees to the bargain, and his reason for it is legitimate. Superheroes should be willing to sacrifice themselves if it means that it will save lives. When Lexi decides to go with Melvin, everybody gangs up on Duck for giving her the idea! Ugh...

5:20 I think you mean to say descendants, not ancestors. XD That aside, this was a pretty enjoyable and funny review, Noah. And it's refreshing to see someone talk about this show and not have everything said in it be summed up as "This show is crap, because the Looney Tunes shouldn't be in this type of show!". :)

I really loved your review on this show! I personally loved this series when I was a kid and to this day i still dork about it, yeah some people think im joking but i actually LOVED the series myself. Duck and Ace were my favorite characters but like I totally agree what you said "Ace should've gotten more episodes focused on him" which is why I kinda loved the episode "Secrets of the Guardian Strike Sword" but it kinda focused more on Duck (but hey I love the two characters so its a bonus?? XD) The show is flawed but there are some moments that make me love it more, congrats on the 1k subscribers! :D

I also really liked this show, but being the creative person I am, I actually rewrote it as a sort of reboot, and it turned out pretty well. There is a fair amount of potential in this thing, it just needed a bit more... sussing out to find it ^^; And seeing and Duck was my favorite character, I really don't mind the amount of screen time he got, though I guess it was pretty unbalanced on that front.

I never understood the hatred for this show. Sure it's different and it's not the same like the classic cartoons but hey at least the characters are likable and pretty funny.

I loved this series i was sad when it ended.

I mainly see all hate just coming from angry Looney Tunes fans who just hated change. It's almost exactly what's going on with the Sonic Boom TV show. This show should've definitely lasted longer. People treat it as the worst cartoon ever made when in reality it was just ok with all the hate coming from the salty Looney Tunes fanbase. I swear, fanbases have to ruin everything.

I think that if the series has 3 or 4 more seasons, the series would have improve with better comedy, fleshed-out characters, intriguing story, and maybe one shipping being close to canon(Acexi fan here 💛+💖 ^w^). But alas, we may never know.

I liked this show when I was younger. I need to watch it again to see what I was nostalgically immune to.

I'm kind of mixed on this. On the one hand, this show WAS one of the last shows to air on Kids WB and it WAS panned by critics and fans before AND after the show came out, the lineup is kind of a cliché group and it was not really a ratings grabber but on the OTHER HAND the characters were new character not the Looney Tunes characters we all know, the action is amusing for your 10 year old, the voice actors are very talented and it DOES have a cult following. Hell I even watched some episodes of it when it first aired on The WB in 2005, I was even the perfect age for it. So I think that The Looney Tunes Show is probably the best Looney Tunes project I've ever seen in recent years.

+cooperramer (The Hedgehog Ninja) Well you ain't alone for being called crazy XD due to thinking about the Loonatics Unleashed being an underated cartoon, since I grew up with it as well an the TMNT 2003 series when I came to the US. And to be Honest, I totally forgot about this show since I was beryl introduced to English and understood a little of it :/ so a few weeks back I went to rewatch the show and find it quite enjoy it, I haven't started season 2,but by the looks on this review, it looks fun and enjoyable :3 EXCEPT FOR THE SONG...yeah I guess that's one of the main issues of why people preferred the 1st season. Also, I also did noticed how Danger Duck was being treated by "Miss Boss-Lady" and I gotta say that now I know why I didn't liked her as a kid as well as tweety in this series, even if Danger is not my main favorite at least he deserves some credit, can he at least get some for once in a while >:(.... But yes I enjoy this show since I also grew up with the original Looney tunes and I guess you could say I don't care for what people think of the other Looney tunes reamkes, but I like them just like this one ^-^ Thanks for understanding this show cause you rarely see people who actually mentioned it or recalling it back when it came out...just sad God bless you -JAM :D

Even though I don't think the show is remotely good, I still liked your review on it. You made quite a bit of good points. However, I think you forgot about how the show was intended to be sort-of edgy, mainly before the show premiered 10 years ago. And the whole cast being such jerks do Danger is an issue I rarely see anyone mention when reviewing. Same goes for Sedavia (correct me if I spelt that wrong) being a poor character. They just seem to bring up the designs and some nitpicks. Sure, the designs are pretty edgy and such, but the whole nitpicks on the extraneous stuff seems weird since the show is not taking it 100% seriously, not even in Season 1 imo. While I still think the show kinda sucks, it at least has some positives (eat your heart out Teen Titans GO!)

I think the reason why the show got such a bad reputation was because the original animation style looked so scary to kids that one 11 year old started a petition to get it cancelled before it even began. Add the press team not indicating that this show was about the descendants of the Looney Tunes, and the complaints from conservative parents that it was too dark and edgy and the show was canned after 2 seasons. It's treatment was so unfair and I bet if Warner Bros. were willing to give the IP to another studio who was passionate about making it good, Loonatics Unleashed could have been a decent show.
