This show would have been awesome if they have a decent writing and such but they missed and it become a wasted potential. Heck, the fanfics and the fanart (or redesign) makes it 10 times better. It was a decent show and guilty pleasure for me. I don't get what's with the hate, even the company itself. I would rather watch Loonatics than Teen Titans Go garbage that have been aired for freaking 9 years. Yeah, I like to watch the show because of the main characters itself especially on Rev and Tech.

I need you to understand just how genuienly I adore you. It is so hard to be someone who loves this series, not just as someone who discovered it online after hearing about its reputation, but as someone who saw an episode being aired on cable, got interested, and THEN fell in love. Your acknowledgement of both what is good hut what is crud is solid. And as soon as it became clear that Rev was your fav, even before you got into his profile, I knew I could trust you. Just, I need you to fully realize what dealitful work you are doing. This is so good. 😊

It's telling how much of a fan favorite the Rev family episode is when Rip is the character that most fanfics use whenever they want to add an additional member to the team (or they add a female OC so Lexi isn't the only girl on the team).

There were only three things about this show that I did hate. Obviously the pre-production trailer. The theme song for the second season, and the fact that they made Pepe le Pew’s character human. That bit made no sense for me.

something i've been thinking about is how the episode where Ace is called 'the greatest hero' in a way more inline with actual text of the show and Tech being always more useful. Say the guy had only heard about the Loonatics and knows that Ace is their leader so he assumes Ace is the most powerful. However, when he comes to earth either he hears about Tech being more useful from locals or sees the group in battle and learns Tech being both more useful to the team and more powerful. So he tells the Loonatics about this, maybe even act shocked that they treat Ace with such revernance. how they go with this can be different; if it's a one episode plot it could be Tech gaining an ego or putting a lot of pressure on himself and having to learn to rely on the others more. Or if it went into a more serialised direction it could have Ace realise that he isn't that great a leader and make him want to prove himself, maybe even learn to use his powers more in battle rather than just martial arts, it could end with him learning he doesn't need to be more expstional than the group and he becomes closure to the team and work better alongside them, maybe even question why they need a formal leader they're like five people not an army. I realise i am writing fanfiction.

As a former fan of Loonatics Unleashed, there was untapped potential with certain storylines but unfortunately was never expanded upon. That's why some fan fictions written for this shoe are a lot better than the actual show itself.

It deserves reboot series and a season 3

I watched the show in middle school when it first released and loved it. I have the dvds just because I wanted to rewatch it and couldn't find another way to do so. I wish more people would have given it a chance.

Finally getting some respect on my childhood favorite. Imagine if this ever got a reboot or resurgence in the future, I would be down for it. Probably won’t happen but it’s nice to dream.

A few things: There were 2 other Looney Tunes characters beforehand. Both were humans: The first-star character of the Looney Tunes shorts was Bosko in 1930, followed by another character called Buddy in 1933 and then Beans the Cat (for a brief time from 1935 to 1936). Porky became the first major star character, then it was Daffy and nowadays, it's Bugs who's the headliner.

A few things I want to say: - One, I want to point out that Back in Action was a movie within a movie so ACME may or may not necessarily be that evil in the context of that - Second, I would say the point about human-occupied universes housing anthropomorphic animals making references to humans eating animals depends on how anthropomorphized the animals are as the original Looney Tunes would occasionally make references to things like "rabbit stew" in the Bugs Bunny cartoons Other than those I agree with the points about how the show has untapped potential. I think this show is deserving of the reboot treatment that redeems and fixes all the problems of the original show while also taking new spins, but considering how LT fans can be, especially the "boomer" ones (*cough cough* Ferris Wheelhouse *cough cough*), and given all the bad luck happen with Warner Bros. a few years later, that will have to be only a matter of time to happen -_-

I actually liked S1 of the show over S2 from its comedy. However I did see there was potential to become better. I really liked the team & the VA’s were great!! I really enjoyed Lexi as a character but I still love Space Jam Lola. I actually found the series on my own in middle school after the series was over

Personally speaking as to why I dislike Zadovia, I just don't get why the Loonatics ooo-ed and awwed over her. Aside from her fawning over Ace and Tech she came across as being pretty distant towards the rest of the team IIRC. I don't remember her interacting with the others beyond basically just telling them "Go out and fight." Also, why would she give Ace a superpowered sword, give out some platitudes about secrets being dangerous, but then... not disclose anything about the sword (and I think that led to some kind of negative fallout. It's been a long time, I can't remember)? Plus, the whole Duck thing -- yes, he can be annoying, but constantly sniping at him doesn't solve anything. She could've attempted to work with him somehow, help him overcome his more grating traits (but given the type of show this was, I know that's asking a lot). I guess she reminds me of a crappy boss at a retail store lol. Honestly she's ultimately pretty bland (like the rest of the cast), but all the stuff I mentioned also ends up making her really unpleasant on top of everything (to me).

I like Loonatics Unleashed, And I plan to revive it one day

I'm actually surprised there is a video where someone goes over the positives of Loonatics instead of bashing it, I thought I was the only one who liked this show for what it was, so thank you for that. Tech and Rev are so wholesome together (in S1) that they should be paired up or at least bros for life, if Victorious taught me anything is that all a good ship needs is the characters work well together. Tori and Andre were platonic and Jori was endgame, two paths Tech and Rev could've gone down if Loonatics was made a little later.

I have a goal in life to bring this show back, but not as a remake. I want to make a continuation from where season 2 ended, featuring new characters including a seventh Loonatic (who’s going to appear as a 14 year old kid with the ability to shrink and grow in a way similar to Ant-Man and a tragic past who views Ace and Lexi as mentor figures) and my own original villains such as Binary, Red Siren, Afterburn, and the Psychotics. But this is going to be a long term goal as I’m currently working on my own project right now. Anyone interested, I’ll keep you posted.

Super late to this one, but as someone who actually likes this show and enjoys it for what it was, they really missed the potential of the premise. Imagine the flat out insane and egotistical looney tunes trying to be superheroes. We could have gotten a fun bombastic action comedy like Powerpuff girls. As it is, it's just diet Teen Titans.

Honestly this show gets way more hate than it actually deserves. The worst you can say about is that its just a slightly generic, middle of the road superhero show.

If you put the genre first and not the characters first, you don't get a good show, you get an annoying parody of a show. _Ben 10_ (2016) is a good show, because it focused on the characters and ironed out issues found in the original continuity.

I dont know why but after your movie i notised that after Tech/Rev kiss moment and adoption of by two guys explanation that the first scene of first episode is acually indirect kiss of Tech and Rev, Tech eating slice of pizza and push the slice into Rev beak, i know also lots of other moments that they are literally togeter in lots of moments or even alone...soo they wanted to make them close but not too close and you cant decide where is the limit to to tell yes they are together no they are just very close budies

1:05:30 i would like to add that for every season were were introduced to a hidden villain and then slowlly builds up to get the full appearance of said villain. Ex. Gunmar from trollhunters series or reverse flash from the flash series. Loonatics did not do that to forward the story.

In the part where you're talking abut the merchandise and the flash games, you said you would display visuals but neglected to edit them in. I remember one of the games on Kids WB was one of those "spot the difference" picture games, which was on a timer, and if you thought you could randomly click around and find the differences by chance, wrong clicks actually ran the timer up faster.

Personally I’d have Loonatics be brought back as an over the top take on superheroes like what Megas XLR is to Mech shows

A better point of refrence for a good superhero show would have been justice leauge. Both because it was airing during this time period, and because a lot issues wih the shows plot characters come from it doing half-hazzard job of emulating JL/JLU.

best episode was the one with the meteor that was going to hit acemetropolis and we got a flashback to all the heroes' prior lives. if this show had more moments like these, it would have added more depth to the story and characters. we never really got to be alone with the characters(villains and heroes) because of the saturday morning cartoon format. season 1 is still way better than season 2 though because of the tone and the art style. season 2 is not bad but it is half a step down due to the added campy tone and uglier art; probably uglier art due to a lower budget. t biggest gripe with this show was it had villains with hilariously stupid motives: rupes oberon getting angry because no one wants his music xD( BUT WE ALREADY HAVE AN ANTHEM!), General Deuce throwing a fit because he couldnt conquer a planet, Optimatus throwing a fit because he also couldnt conquer planets and got his face fried, Porky Pig being plain evil... guess thats why he was put up for adoption?. pretty much all the characters had potential to add depth to the show but the writers i guess chose to be stale bread.
