We're not 'cheated' in the UK. There are, and always have been amazing beers in England, maybe the best in the world.

Coors isn't that bad considering what's on the market and sometimes you just want a refreshing beer that doesn't tip you over the edge

Paul I remember taking a shine to Coors lite when it was 5% here in Belfast 10-15 years ago and it was really nice (particularly in 500ml cans ) had a distinctive taste which was always refreshing and kept you drinking away. True about the difference now it tastes like F all 🤦‍♀️

I went to a party a few weeks back. I'm normally a 2 beer max type of guy, but when they offered Coors Light I had 4.5 bottles to down with my steak. It was very drinkable with the food, but served alone I probably wouldn't touch it. I'm in the USA so maybe the recipe is different here? Thanks Paul, good vid.

Okay, your first mistake was pouring it; these beers are meant to be served in the medium their purchased in. In USA, pouring beer is only for chugging.

Have read that they are launching 'Coors Orginal' in UK later this year, which is the same as USA's Coors Banquet. Coors Light will be rebranded simply as Coors - already seen this new branding on cases in supermarkets.

Used to love coors a few years back. It was my preferred drink. But yeah they did something to it. And now it taste rank.

Sounds like Coors Original is what you liked, maybe they marketed it different over there as Coors Original / Banquet is 5% and Coors light has always been 4% here in North America. At least as far as I can remember.

In the USA, this beer is 4.2%, and we also get the Coors Banquet (5%), of course.

@@paulsbeerreviews Coors Light you get in England and across the UK is most likely brewed in England completely diffrent from the real American Coors Light which is 4.2 percent ABV . here in Canada Coors Light is brewed in Canada in New Brunswick in the town of Montcom. and its 4 percent ABV

Paul, have you tried budweiser lately? same with that....used to have some edge and a slight bitter taste at the back but now its a very light tasting beer now that they have weakened the alcohol strength.

I can’t remember the last time I had a Budweiser. Used to drink plenty of it but again my tastebuds took me elsewhere. I’ll have to pick one up.

Drink Coors Banquet! It's delicious. I do think it went bad shipping, and sitting. Tastes decent locally; definitely not a great beer, but for how cheap and readily available it is alright. I'm definitely not a fan of light beer either, I don't get it either!

I'm drinking one now it is refreshing after a hard day kind of tastes like sparkling water really but it has alcohol which sparkling water does noti I would give it a 5/10

Enjoyable beer. Like Budweiser, bud light etc, it’s perfect for a hot day when your pissing around with mates and not looking to get TOO pissed up

To be honest I use to drink this down the local pub it's a decent pint and you can rattle quite a few especially on a day out in the boozer.. The usual taxman dictated the high ABV so that's why the brewers drop the richter scales to keep costs down. Won't stop me from drinking it on a day out in the pub..

Great for my mension.. Used smash carling or fosters gold at the time! This video mad as I actually bought case 15 cans coors last week for £10 in morrisons end up throwing them away! Lol

The regular Coors Banquet is 5 percent. Coors light and every other light beer in the US is 4.2 percent. Are you sure you werent drinking regular Coors?

I'm fine with coors light. But with 6 packs its a crapshoot whether you get coors or skunk piss.

I tried Coors light today and i paid 2 euro and 40 cent for it at a store in Amsterdam and when it is ice cold and together with a kapsalon and a lots of sauce it is surpricingly drinkable but if you want to enjoy a lager than it is very poor indeed mister Paul

It was 4.5%, I think they dropped it to 4% in about 2012/13

@@paulsbeerreviews the Coors light we get here in Canada is 5 percent ABV and is brewed under license by Labatt Coors Light was one of the frist Beers I started drinking when I frist got into Alchoal beer wine at age 20. I I revisted Budweiser which is also Brewed under license. And I really enjoyed I'm actually a recovering Beer snob. Sure American Australian Candian UK macro Lagers are not the Best in Quality macro Lagers pillsners or macro beer compared to Germany Czeck Republic Belgium Holland. But they have there place. Although I've always wondered what the Real imported version of Budweiser from America and Coors light would taste like

Youre not wrong about any of it but i sometimes crave chugging one down as soon as i enter the house after work and then go on to stronger beers. Never go for a second one though.

Honestly you probably used to get Coors Banquet, there full flavored beer. I think they just put it in a Coors Light can. Coors Banquet is 5% still

I’ve never heard of Coors banquet. Are you based in the UK or USA buddy? It was definitely in Coors Light bottles. Also, are you the real Sasquatch??

@@paulsbeerreviews lol...not the real sasquatch, I live in the USA. Coors Banquet was there original beer, it's in the yellowish cans. I have a feeling that's what you used to get in the Coors Light cans. Here Coors Banquet has always been 5%, and Coors Light always 4.2%. Cheers🍻

The Coors Light here in Canada is 4 ABV percent it's one of my favorite macro Lager Beers I had it last Summer in May of 2020. Really enjoyed it although the Coors Light here in Canada is made in Canada it's not the real American version. And the American version is 4.2 percent ABV

If I'm drinking a light beer on a hot day it would be Pacifico, Carta Blanca, Red Stripe, completely done with our American piss watered down beer, Coors, Miller, Budweiser.

Not here in the UK it doesn’t. Pabst is still stocked with the imported lager’s in stores and priced much higher than Coors. That’s what disappointed me so much about it.

So with all the amazing beers around now, your taste extends no further than San Miguel. I mean if you're only going to drink one beer, at least pick something decent like Titanic Plum.Porter or Brooklyn Lager. I like trying as many beers as possible of all different styles..I guess I'm not narrow minded
