Jute bags filled with coffee or cocoa beans are semi-automatically unloaded efficiently and without physical effort. The Copal SpiderGripper can pick up bags up to 100 kg, turn 360 degrees and has several rotation and tilting points. Even bags and bales which are not lying flat can be picked up and deposited straight on the conveyor. The bags are transported by the conveyor belt to the robot for palletization. The bags are centered on the centering unit. Palletizing can be done on all type of pallets, according to a stacking pattern determined by the customer. After completion, the full pallets are removed with a fork lift truck. Automatic sampling, moisture detection and weighing of bags is possible and bags can be sorted.
