As a former owner of a magnetic red C5 you should grab that Vette if you can get it for $3000. That’s a rare color and hard to find. There’s about $12-14 thousand sitting there if repaired. You’d pull down a nice profit. It will cost you about $3000 to fix. You do the math. That engine alone is worth $3000 with the low miles on it.

Randy, the Colorado's are known for melting the power lead to the blower fan motor. A 15 minute fix. Go for It!

For $1500 that Genesis seems like an ok car for somebody who just need a car to get from point A to B. I on the other hand have OCD and would need to make sure everything on the car is decent enough before I bother with it.

You are right, the gap between fender and frame is open by 3/4 to 1 inch and fender is not fastened on top. When fastened the fender will be way out of line.

Beside the red Hyundai's replaced front right guard, near the fuse box, the hole opening has a wrinkle, in two places on the edge where the inner guard was squashed in and not fixed, with paint cracked off/missing. As the holes are out of round. Check the area around the fuse box.

Randy, I think the difference between '97 and now is that even the smallest cars are pretty quick. The bigger cars are in a horsepower war and people aren't capable of handling that much power. You never saw somebody in a 1992 Cavalier racing around like that. Technology is not always your friend.

RANDY!!!! I watch you on my PC computer going through an HDMI cable, into a flat screen monitor/TV which is capable of 1080p, and I really can't tell which camera you're using. They all work great from what I can see. Your sound is always very good too, and I've got my monitor connected. via a single RCA-style patch-cord, into the digital input on a Kenwood surround-sound receiver which I keep in stereo mode rather than surround, and through some >40 year old Bose 301s. Whenever you tell us that you're on some fancy-pants expensive camera, it never looks noticeably better to me. Conversely, whenever you lament that you're on a poor old i-phone, the sound and video quality is never missing anything - as far as I can tell... To me, it don't matter what rig you're recording with, as long as you're uploading. Too bad I'm in Ohio, because I'll bet $200 that my Fox GT 5.0 can beat yours in the quarter mile! ;)

love these longer videos!! id be ok with payin like 2k maybe 2.5k-3k for the C5 if everything had potential to drive smoothly etc. i got a 14 corolla with 62k miles for about 10k 2 years ago and felt like i made out like a bandit until i went to sell it. dealership found out it had been a copart accident car with broken motor mounts/bent frame/uneven body panels and more probs.. bought it before i was a car guy so i took it to a big name repair shop for the inspection. they said it was great deal but i guess he didnt look it over very well. lesson learned.
