How many pounds per box on average? Looks like 4k. Looks good.

At least 4 no more than 5K, anything more the pallets won't hold up, and the forklift won't safely pick it up.

@@chadm4229 in my experience it's not possible to make money that way. Your not only getting screwed by buying from a scrapyard at their export price but you're also selling back to them where they buy low. The ideal thing to do is to buy from a scrapyard and sell to a foundry directly and bypass the yards, Scrapyard are just middle mans. Think about it, If you buy a 800 lb box of Romex for 2.14 a lb and you recover 490 lbs from it you you would have to sell the recovered bare bright for at least 3.60 a lb to atleast get your money back, so you'd have to sell the bare bright for 4.00$ a lb to make profit. And that won't happen unless world war 3 happens. I've tried this before and it's not worth it and it's not possible. Also if you buy higher recovery percentage boxes with wire like 8 gauge to 0 gauge they'll want 3.30 a lb. In conclusion you'd have to buy the wire for really low or sell the bare for really high. I've done this and I've lost a few hundred
