Copper Creek Cuts Lawn Care

Copper Creek Cuts Lawn Care

4 ай бұрын

Another stormwater management job that required removing trees, aquatic vegetation, hauling debris to the landfill with a ‪@YanmarUSA‬, ‪@ventrac‬ and an AMP dump trailer, digging out a stump and seeding the area as well as stabilizing the soil, and more. I also used ‪@toro‬ 60 volt chainsaw and hedge trimmer, ‪@echousa‬ SRM3020U to string trim everything, and ‪@dewalttv‬ reciprocating saw to cut some thick weeds.

You can use a longer bar but you need to use a skip or semi skip chain so there’s less teeth. With a semi skip but every 3rd tooth removed it can help ease the load on your chainsaw.

That makes sense. It kept just stopping on me. I figured it must be some kind of load sensor or something tripping because of the extra strain.

u should invest in good winch. ATV winch 5000lb would work if you double up the line. that way you can be sitting on the tractor and be using the winch either with wireless remote or just the standard wire remote

@@CopperCreekCuts Portable one is all you need. Hitch mount it. U could use it also on the trailer incase you need to pull something up into the trailer. run battery cables from your truck battery to the back of the truck and run the winch on the trailer or on your truck hitch. If u use 2 to 1 or 3 to one leverage you could even pull tree stumps. Your Ventrac is a beast. having a winch there would make life easier

I always wondered how that big echo line trimmer is the 3010 or whatever. I got stihl 131s and a 240 mainly. Stihl has a brush cutter that’s 4.5 horsepower but I tried on the 3.0 HP smaller one with the harness and that was heavy as hell. So I got a 311 which has the 131 engine and the nice 4 point anti vibration. I got a lot of trimmers and bla bla

No regrets. The bobcat probably would have torn up the turf a LOT more than the Ventrac and required a ton of seed or sod repair bills (just my opinion, I might be wrong).
