Welcome to Copperdale Academy High! This is one of my ALL TIME FAVOURITE builds I've ever done and I'm so excited to share it with you! As promised, I've bulldozed the entire Copperdale High School and remodeled it to be something more Doctor Ashley approved! This high school has 3 floors and has everything you need to have a successful high school gameplay experience and more! On the first floor we have: cafeteria, reception, principal's office, staff lounge, outdoor pool and gymnasium. On the second floor we have: classrooms and locker area. On the third floor we have: library, computer lab, music room, art studio and woodshop studio. I hope you guys like it as much as I do and I would be THRILLED if you used the build and sent me pictures! My high school is recently renovated, so it’s very modern. Everything inside is white, and the teachers aren’t even allowed to paint their classrooms.

I would love to see a more grungy high school, like maybe it’s under funded, it’s ‘on the wrong side of the tracks’ and isn’t as clean as the schools I’ve seen being built so far. I feel like the graffiti from city living would be so fun to use in a build like that ✨

I'm from the states and my high school wasn't as grand as this, but there were other high schools in my city that were like this. My elementary school did have the stage in the gym and converted whenever we needed it. However my high school we had a separate theater auditorium and a gymnasium for Basketball and volleyball. My only suggestion is to enclose the pool was so it could be used with seasons. This is awesome build. I plan to use it in my game. Thank you!

Here in California a large portion of our schools are actually open campus which means that the hallways were outdoors. We had long blocks of classrooms with covered hallways connecting the blocks. Most had the courtyard in the middle of the school. We also had a separate theater for drama classes and plays. We had a pool as well. We also had two gyms. One we called the small gym which was used for sports practices mostly but sometimes for events such as career day. And we had the large gym for larger events, sports, school dances, and pep rallies.

It’s the same in South Florida, almost all schools are open campus, so I never related to those one giant building schools you’d see in movies and tv shows, we also had the path coverings and two gyms, although my school was too publicly funded to have a pool lol. I’m probably going to build a high school in the sims 4 that not only is open campus but also more realistic and not one of the bougie schools literally everyone has been building, I’m being honest, Fake gamer girl is the only person I’ve seen actually make a realistic public American High School. So I might upload a speed build to my second channel of this high school but im not entirely sure if I am yet, regardless I will for sure build one at very least.

As a Californian, I love that about our schools but I’ve always wanted to go to an indoor high school that are shown in movies 😭😭I spent most of my childhood waiting to go to high school thinking it would be like high school musical and mean girls ☠️

Yeah that sound exactly like the high school I attended! My middle school was like that as well since it used to be a high school. And even my elementary school had the open hallways and courtyard just without the theatre or pool

Before I even finished the video I already knew this would be the school I put in my game to play with. Your builds are always amazing and this is by far the best highschool I’ve seen! I only wish the game wasn’t so broken so I could actually play with it :/

For me secondary school has always been a campus sort of thing. With a main building and then smaller buildings scattered around for various things. I also went to a morning school for senior secondary school so there was also dorm rooms(hostels) in different buildings.

this is definitely my favorite high school build ive seen yet! always impressed with you, ashley!! as someone who owns all the packs i understand why a lot of creators limit pack usage but sometimes i feel a lil sad cuz im not an amazing builder but i know that the build could be more fleshed out if they didnt have to limit themselves so im very happy you used more than just the high school pack and basegame! i also LOVE the gymnasium with the overlook bleachers, as well as the platform classrooms. this is the highschool im putting in my save ❤️😊

I grew up in a suburb outside of NYC and graduated in 2015 and honestly the exterior looks EXACTLY like my high school. The placement of the lockers overlooking the entrance brought me back right away

I absolutely love this build, omg how did I just find it???!! I’m so glad you used other packs, imo we have enough sim youtubers that have made it using just base game and high school years- It’s really nice to have something with an actual working basketball court! I also love the fact that your builds are typically on the fancier side…I love playing sims to indulge in the more expensive stuff that isn’t realistic for everyone, but can be in my games. I found you through shorts and not only are your builds amazing, I absolutely love just listening to your voice, it’s so lovely! I could watch your videos for hours (and I do now!) Stayed until the end! It really looks amazing and I'm so glad you actually made that third floor. I've seen a lot of people creating high schools with more than one floor but then decorating just the first floor because it takes so much time to go from one place to another and blah blah. However, you managed to create a stunningly looking high school, that is very grant, while also being completely decorated and functional. I think the third floor is a win as it'd be only accessible for those that want to do after class activities. I can't wait to have the EP and download it into my game! 🥰

Really nice build. The entire lot is quite amazing, The gym and pool work, as does the rooms on the top floor. I'm from the States and what the average high school looks like sometimes depends on whether you go to a private or public school, live in a big city, a suburban neighborhood, small town or rural village along with whether those areas are wealthy, middle-class, working-class or living below the poverty line. The Sims and this pack specifically gives you the opportunity to build the high school that you experienced, just as you remembered it or you can build the high school of your imagination. Really fun (and sometimes not so fun) stuff. I look forward to seeing my Sims attend your school.

I watched the whole video, I'm not the type of person who watches a full speed build but I loved this video! it's fun to hear people talk about their high school experience. Personally I am Mexican so I went to a Mexican school, and I have always found the experience of an American high school to be very different. I honestly love that with this pack they focused on American high schools, I find them more fun and with more activities. Thank you for this construction, I think it's awesome! my sims are going to love it! :D

I think you really encapsulated the vibe of tv all american suburban high schools with one bc those are the kind of schools with the giant pool and gyms and stuff. I lived in a major city so my high school was a museum that got repurposed into a school so there were a lot of odd architectural choices that made my school very unique

Stayed to the end!! Can’t wait to use this. Aspects of this remind me of my high school. We had three levels and the entry was open so you could see all the way down from the third floor. All the lockers were in the main area on each floor and the classrooms down the hallways. We didn’t have a pool but we did have the gymnasium so I like that being included. Also, we had an auditorium for plays and choir concerts too. But you had me at that guitar room because we had that as an option too though I was in choir instead 😊😊

I think you did an amazing job on this high school, very nostalgic!😍 Functional for gameplay and aesthetics on point!👏 The gym is very necessary imo, sims can still play basketball & challenge each other to tournaments so it does add options for more gameplay🙌 I went to an american high school, it had a huge indoor track on the main level with a sunken basketball court in the middle and bleachers going all the way around leading down to the court🏀 it was also used for cheer, gymnastics, volleyball & wrestling tournaments 🏟 as well as special events like graduation ceremonies 🧑🏼‍🎓

Such a great build! Definitely reminds me of the bougie schools around where I lived! My friends and I would go to some on the weekends because they would open them for public swimming or the basketball courts as well! Also great idea for a end of summer picnic everyone could use the calendar system in game to create! I think I will!

Man, I just renovated/res watched the OG high school and added more stuff to it to make it feel more like a high school. It took a long time mostly because of the floor pattern and redesigning most of the rooms but now I want to bulldoze and and add yours! It has so much dimension!

I love this build. I'm originally from Massachusetts but had to move to Canada for 3 years bc of parents jobs, I ended up entering high school for 1 year in Toronto before moving to California, and I will say the buildings in Canada are really like industrial looking type high schools, flat and very singular with not a lot of outdoor space and when I moved to Cali the school was so grand looking collegiate style buildings just like your build. They are more spacious with such a big campuses and grounds, it was a big culture shock.

I stayed til the end! ❤️ And Doctor Ashley does not disappoint because this is such an amazing build! I love the locker area with the balcony. Love the gymnasium too! In my opinion tho, the pool would look better on the inside of the gymnasium, maybe like adjacent to the the basketball court. But overall, this really is such a great build! 😭 So meticulous and the details are superb. Even if this was a long video, right from the start i knew I was going to enjoy this and i did! Looking forward to your next high school build ❤️❤️
