I only buy packs for the builds and the game play. I like to live in different places. Also the homes/apartments on the gallery are made using multiple. So i need all the packs for the gallery builds! 🥰

It appears that EA no longer creates with the end user satisfaction in mind they only create with dollars in mind. This shows in the materials being produced for sims. So many insulting packs where you really only pay for one or two great things while the rest is complete fluff and junk!

the most annoying thing to me is all of the stuff for gyms and community lots rather than stuff that fits the theme of the pack for homes. like why are we getting yet another treadmill but not a single kitchen set….

true! I find it boring at times to decorate large build rooms. It’s like I just wanna exit the game at that point 😂

I stand with you, however justice for more kitchen & bathroom sets. Im a builder and variety even in the simple items never hurts. I feel this pack would match really well with the style of the “Decor to the Max” kit and the gameplay of the new “Bistro” kit. These days with sims it feels like you take what you can get. FINALLY , for the love of sims we need an updated organized menu log. I build so much I know where certain debug items are and I STILL get overwhelmed in build mode and I have half the catalog memorized!

I own every pack (RIP my bank balance) so I have all of the options in game and still fully 100% believe that in every EP there should be a full kitchen, at least 1 single and 1 double bed and a bathroom set. In every pack that gives us a 3-seater sofa, there should be a matching love seat and armchair (and vice versa!). I'm actually furious that there's no 3-seater in this EP, and the armchairs don't have anything to match with them. If you've only got this and base game then it's even worse, the chairs are basically unusable in some swatches because there's nothing to match them to. You should be able to build a good house with mainly new content every time you play with a new EP without relying on tired Base Game options to pad it out.

the catalog thing is so real, it needs a refresh! i have all packs too so the catalog gets REALLY big and makes it hard to find some stuff, specially when i have to search "pyramids of absorptions" to find a stack of towels! like, a lot of things have to be changed in this catalog fr...

As a non builder I like EP's for the new worlds and the new gameplay. I also like to decorate so I do tend to like the new items. The problem is that lately there hasn't been a lot of new gameplay in the most recent EP's. For Rent was great for builders but not so great for gameplay (in fact broken). I know I'll get the new pack but I do wish they had added more Mexican themed items (Piñata, Day of the Dead items, etc) as well as new gym equipment since they hyped up the gym so much. A day of the dead event could have been really good (but not super romantic)

i love speed builds that get used as a chance to talk about unrelated stuff but i need them to have a tour at the end! not gonna lie i space out during the speed build part but i will rewind and rewatch just to see the end tour.

I agree with you, I rather have 10 kits but like courtyard oasis quality or special items such as the industrial loft style, as a builder I just play building so the rest not really important as long as i can use some basic functions. I would like to see more architecture style

I saw many videos about people in Korea, especially Seoul, living in tiny rooftop apartments. It is literally just a box on top of a high building, for cheap living! Maybe that could be an idea for a build challenge for you, just try to search for it on youtube! Also, wonderful build as always. You are one of my comfort youtubers ❤

Get together has odd modern things in it as well. The windows remind me a lot of Get Famous. Maybe those would tie in well with this pack as a bundle.

I agree with you on the expansion packs. I think they should come with a full house of build/buy items. I don't mean new toilets or in-counter sinks, but they should have either a whole house build/buy or more than 1 style, like High School Years gave us. I also am getting a bit more disappointed with the offerings in the expansion packs.

Love the speed build talking about the new pack. Agree with you that this pack seems to be designed to work well if you have lots of other dlc but not so great for base game only builds. I'll probably get it eventually on sale, until then I'll live vicariously through you lol.

I like the speed builds, especially in this case when talking about a new pack. I think agree that this is a pack for people who already have lots of other content, not great for base game only builds but I think it will work really well with everything else. I'll wait for a sale first though!

the style of the items are gorgeous, the world style is beautiful, the items we do have seem nice... but it's all just so lacking. no new kitchen set, uninspiring lots that don't reach the sidewalks, not cohesive, penthouses but no apartments in a downtown area... its like they hear us and deliberately make choices they know won't go over well lol. no one wants to pay $40 for an EP that feels so unfinished with BB items that feel like multiple unfinished kits

as a builder i agree every expansion pack should have a new kitchen (as for bathrooms i don't think it's necessary to have one with every pack) as far as this pack goes there is a disconnect in the style of the items and you can't really make a full living room with the items we were given - i will say there are a lot of beautiful pieces in here that i will definitely be using a lot but compared to other expansion packs i'm disappointed in the items we received (i'm also a little disappointed we didn't get any actual apartments and a few more lots would've been nice)

It would be nice to get kitchen sets for every EP. But, for those area-focused areas like Lovestruck (in this case, Mexico), it would have been nice to get some new kitchen stuff.

I am confused why apartments (not including For Rent) gives you more flexibility to penthouse in terms of color and matching the existing building.

Now that you can make for rent apartments on penthouses I feel like it makes them way more versatile!

i’m not a big fan of speed builds like the ones that just talk through building it but the way you’ve done it has been entertaining

I'm not a fully builder simmer. (I play, a lot, but have my building moments.) For the kitchen set: YES. This EP comes with so many bars and back bars but honestly? I could create a pretty backbar with a decent kitchen set. I do like the items in the EP (also the fluffy rug made me think of you and Emma Nicole, fluffy rug lovers!) For the build stuffs, it's scattered around just like Growing Together. And I completely understand the idea that it's not that valuable. I think since it comes with a world, I wish we would have more Build items in the pack that make sense. And the buy items should be enough to have one complete house in the theme of the EP. And also: items with gameplay. I'm not just a builder, I build to play. And so many of the items are cool alone but if you are or not a builder, you don't want to think completely out of the box everytime and players want something they're sure they'll use and can play with (especially when it's expensive). Not a 100th bar. At least give me the kitchen set that goes with that bar. 😭 I like speedbuilds podcast kind of. Especially big builds! Would love the occasional commentary on the build itself though if you are very proud of one thing in the build for example

Lovestruck + Jungle Adventure + Carnaval kit would be a great combo. The carnaval kit has colorful clothes that go well with the world. jungle adventure has a kitchen and bathroom set that would compliment well the pack as well. The Latin American Bundle 😅
