huh...? As someone who spent her entire life focusing on the psychological complexity of murder and crimes of that nature, seriously thinking as far as that when I was like 4-6 years of age, because I was supposed to True Crime so young and I was always in my head as a relatively quiet kid; I also see no reason to not just be like murder is bad and I don't like that one did it for any reason. I've poured hours of writing exploring and conceptualizing any and all topics relating to criminology and the nature of murder, and even longer thinking about it obsessively until it actually weighed on my mental health and intellect. I've observed and I've conducted studies about my ideas, because it does matter, and I do see your perspective, I just don't know why you're applying it to him. He's a streamer that just likes to share his ideas while he reacts to videos like these, you want him to behave and think how you do because he's your outlet for expressing ideas. You're not disappointed or in critique because he's being narrow minded and it's not desirable or valid to you, you genuinely seem like he subverted your expectations. He has a platform and he's not using it right. How dare he not consider what I have and not care about the nuances? His take is obviously forced and for appearances, what a waste. Is that what you think? Whatever it is, it's clear you at least believe he owes you to not act like that because of your expectations for him. It's like a teacher singling out of student he doesn't want to believe contrary to what's being taught. That's just my opinion, I don't know what's going on in your head, you're just being weird and acting high and mighty. It's not a big deal that he had his opinions, and it's not like it's something harder to force out that you hate murder. Most people, even chat, aren't going to expect one to not hate murder, so there's no incentive for him to try so hard unless it's to virtue signal, or get gratification and happy brain chemicals to release for knowing he's expressing an opinion most likely to be agreed to. I can't speak on him, but why would he want either of the two to take place? He usually says things his chat is going to disagree with anyways, and it's not exactly a cool and likable topic to use for any gratification: who in the world wants to brag about their opinion on murder, good or bad? Nevertheless, again, it's not a big deal to say murder of all cases is bad, and in the overwhelming majority of cases that's just the most valid take. That is, if it's not self-defense or a fair enough revenge plot, militant acts or battlefield valiance/gallantry, or even vigilante justice, there's not much to think about and he is reasonable for emphasizing his hatred of it. I'll think about it anyways, but I think it's weird of you to fault anyone for not really thinking about it on a mental or psychological scale. You're reading too deep into things and it's coming from a place of some sort of intellectual high ground or moral high ground, not genuine skepticism or critique of his points. I think that's weird of you and I don't think you're special for psychologically analyzing the complexity of it.

X thinking the guy is faking it is actually crazy. This is literal insanity. That is why temporary insanity is a court defense. The guy was clearly driven to insanity. It wasn't clear that is where it was going from the first encounter, but the way that he was completely broke down. Also the neighbors saying he thought the world of her. It's a sad situation. Also from little details in the conversation it is clear that neither of them are like great people, but they cared for each other a lot. This is just a sad situation. It's a lack of resources to properly care and handle the situation. A lot of that is because of the refusal of the woman to leave her home. It's all just a tough situation, but to say the guy is lying or faking is just a crazy take. I get so tired of X's reactions sometimes, but it's easy to pass the time. I just wish he wasn't so annoying with how he acts confident in how he understands things when it is just wrong. He gets mad at chat for doing the things he himself does. It's just annoying.

Looks like you don't know much about American phones. They listen to everything you say everyday regardless of you being on the phone or not. The FBI, (and no not some country detective, The actual FBI), and government officials can recover a phone that's been burned or watered or even been out of working condition for years. All phones listen to what you say, especially when you use phone calls. It's all just data to recorded. That being said, the 911 dispatcher was probably still in call, and the call did not actually hang up but rather the audio was corrupted and unable to be played through on the other end. So while the old women wasn't hearing anything, or the 911 dispatcher, they were both still in call, just unable to hear one another.

Think of it like a three way call where one of the callers is just a recorder. The operator or caller can hang up or disconnect, and there's still 2 people on the line. 38:45 I dont think the family members are "out of touch" for saying that she instigated it with her behaviour. That doesnt mean that she deserved to die. Henry should have left her, so there would be no other way than professionals taking care of her. But I can also understand that you dont want to leave the person you (used to) love alone to die. His "plan" was probably to just wait it out until her illness ends her, so he can move on with the little amount of life that is left for him. I dont know who owned the property, but depending on that you can either blame or not blame the cops. They cant just throw someone out of their own house. I mean what do you have to work with, when she says "I feel unsafe, but I dont want to leave"? Its just a cooked situation. I know everyone nowadays like to say "xyz and its that simple", but I find it really tiresome and boring. I dont enjoy watching such a horrible IRL story just to think "the guy is cooked, thats it". I think what happened in the video teaches a lot about what caring about your loved ones actually means. Sometimes you gotta hurt one other a little bit to prevent both persons from breaking completely. If you hate Henry for what he did, rest assured. He will hate hisself for the last years he has and probably wishes he shot himself that day.

I agree in the fact that nobody "deserves to die" because they're rude. However she was visually being very impatient and trying. She was given many opportunities to get the help she needed by people who were physically able AND willing to do so (evident by them both saying she's been to hospice and 24/7 care facilities before). She was even told by the officers in the initial contact that they could help get her somewhere that would benefit her and Henry. She still refused saying "it's her house too" and theres "all her paintings and stuff". She was being incredibly selfish and controlling. Instead of getting help (this also giving Henry the help/relief he asked for) she made it practically impossible to move her without resistance or retaliation. She pushed the man to his limits. He was very clearly also frail in his age and also had medical issues. I doubt it was him just deciding "ok, why not?". As sad as it is, given what I've seen and what the relatives even reported, I believe she probably did have some part in this all. I would not put it past her to have started being rude and controlling and being an antagonist. As I said in the first sentence, I don't think anyone "deserves to die" for being rude. But there's an old saying that goes something like "never push a man that has nothing to lose". I believe she pushed and he decided he had little to lose. May the families recover from the pain this situation caused..

Its an extremely complicated scenario. Theres so many factors that lead to someone like henry. A lot of it caused by Henry's generation by not putting an emphasis or care at taking care of the eldery. Putting a person into a home will cost at minimum around 4k a month. Just to out that into perspective thats a whole ass mortgage on a very nice house. Second, is the lack of caring family. In many cultures its not uncommon for the children or siblings to take care of their parents during their elder years. In the US its far to common to have old people with children who have distanced themselves from them and dont want to help. In my experience, its mostly the parents fault for having a bad relationship. Finally, is bad spending and lack of resources, henry and his wife should have money saved up for retirement to pay for assistance while they are too old to work. They obviously probably couldnt afford a retirement home or nurse so henry was left in despair. Its a fucked self-inflected circumstance put by the older generation to just be selfish. Rightfully so, its affecting them.

The cops during the first visit missed several clear signs that things were not good. I'm honestly surprised mental health professionals aren't part of a police response team because an mhp would have instantly noticed that was not a safe situation to just leave from. Everyone has a breaking point and this man clearly was at it. Again, he doesn't have the right to take her life but he clearly mentally broke. End of life care is hard, especially for someone very demanding and even more so if you're at his age and on oxygen. He tried to get help but as he said during the visit "everyone wants to talk but no one does anything". We need to have better options for our elderly. xQc too young, immature, and inexperienced to have a sensical, nuanced take on this video. Lmao. The old man is just as much of a victim as the old lady is. If you're confused as to what I mean by this, it's because you're young. This dude was forced to take care of this cranky old lady for who knows how long. Can't put her in a home, can't abandon her, can't get her out of the house, can't get away from her. It's no wonder he snapped.

Does anyone know anything about POA? Cuz this makes no sense to me. He said she was in multiple nursing homes but (I guess) she got kicked out because she rly wanted to be at home. But if he is her POA is that even her choice? And if he hates her so much can't he relinquish his POA? Cuz it looks like she just wants to stay at home and somehow forces him to take care of her? Like, how ? If he literally stopped taking care of her ? What would happen? Would he get arrested? But if he gets arrested we are back to square one, and now she is alone in the house with no one to take care of her. Both of them seem to own the house so it's not like she can kick him out if he reliqueshes the POA so... What was stopping him?

The one thing that cops should've acted on is the man saying he would kill her, cops took it as a joke twice, and brush it off as nothing. sometimes things can go from 0 to 100 in an instant.

People justifying it to a degree need to seek mental help and pray to god they dont find themselves in this same kind of situation in the future. No one should ever have to die in such a horrific and undeserving way, and again, if you think any of these two "had it coming" you are a brick wall with no space for emotion GO SEEK HELP!

I mean, he clearly seemed like he was done taking care of her and I'm assuming she couldn't survive without him there. Based on this alone, I feel like they have to remove her from the home. If there's some legal reason why they can't because she doesn't consent, then this is a flaw in the system because this man was not fit to take care of her and that was clear.

people what the hell are you talking about, they responded, came in there stuck around for at least half an hour, asked her if he was alright like 20x, how else should they go about this, arrest the 80 year old guy for saying stupid shit, they litterly can not do it without her asking them to, they told her 25 times that if she doesnt want to stay at the house they can arrange something, they can not and it isnt reasonable to do any more. Brother i just finished the video, these fks are saying SHE WANTED IT please go to a hospital and ask for help

bro said "I killed her" then asked for a lawyer. idk how much the cops are to blame her but not inquiring further after he joked about it was an L especially if u combine that with his demeanor and other things he was saying.

@@lunium5Nope. Mental health makes you tick or more inclined to do something. It doesn’t make you do something. Yall need to learn responsibility and self accountability for your own situation. You can keep blaming the system but eventually you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.

What you and xqc are confusing is "blame" with "excuse" or justification. If you go up to a black guy and repeat the n word to his face and tell him he is a sissy and wont do anything about it and as a result he beats you up and you die. Is it justified? Probably not, but you still share blame in what happened. Just like if you mentally torment someone for years and they eventually snap, you dont deserve to die, but you also share part of the blame.
