My favorite part is sanding. Didn't realize how much I needed that. Now I feel the urge to watch more sanding videos. Hope you can sand everything all the way from now on, not just some parts.

I really want a 3-D printer now. That is so cool the way you’re able to make that handle

Pretty amazing refurbishing of this plate jointer. I was going to tell you that you can purchase most any part for most DeWalt power tools, but you 3D printed what you needed. How cool is that... Thumbs Up!

I always enjoy your videos so much but this with the 3D printed handle and battery dock. Just Epic. Thanks

Thank you for your video! I was able to tear down my joiner, identify the problem and purchase a new gear cover. Dewalt recommends using their grease but it costs about $120 for 32 oz. Is there a grease that you would recommend that comes in a smaller amount?

During this restoration, there was the opportunity to change the screws to more modern Hex Screws or some other kind.

I enjoy the videos but the 3d handle would last 5 mins unless you treat it like glass

You're restoring an USA product (DeWALT) by using a Japanese product (Makita)!!!!

Packing clean grease in dirty bearings is just stupid. The parts that were broke would cost $5-$10 to replace. I hope you plan on keeping this so you can fix your mistakes later.

A dirty bearing is not a problem...A worn out bearing is a problem and needs to be replaced! I'm pretty sure he knew the state of those bearings before he decided to clean them and add new grease to them! It's funny that almost every time you'll find some person in the comments who thinks he could do it better but in reality, that person is still trying to decide what kind of screwdriver should buy: a left handed one or a right handed one...

Don’t know how to use this machine obviously. So why bother restoring it?
