I've got an idea for a color-building/color theory type of video. You've said in the past that pearl/mica powders usually need a color base to really bring that pearl out, and I agree. But it would be a cool way to showcase this using some different powder pigments like interferences, auroras, as well as pearls in a laminate. Same powdered pigment in both sides of the laminate, just a different color base/backing - one light, one dark. I think it could make for a really educational video as well as some awesome baits.

Thanks a lot, Chris! Now I have to buy that pintail mold and the tracer. For my 3.8" and 2.8", I'll stick to the 603/607, only because I've got 5 of each size and it was a big investment. That pintail shad nose hooked with a mosquito hook, hang on for dear life!

Laminate the pre-Core body in TN shad then darker chartreuse tail. Or laminate as a golden shiner with a redish orange core shot.

You’d get more views if you used black Assam tea leaf. But I guess you’re ok with only 166 likes in 4 hours. Marling baits gets 1,000 a minute. ☕️ 🍁 🪱 🎣
