my roommate has a 1960 fiat Neckar that looks just like this car but it was built in fiats german factory so i bet almost none of the parts interchange. its a cute little deathtrap, makes my 63 beetle feel fast though

My 1960 Fiat was identical ! It was my first car at age 17 , in 1970. I paid $50 for it. It had no tachometer and I accidentally blew the engine in 1971.

Hahah sounds pretty great on engine noise. Is he going too renovate it or fix any rust in it on the underside? Or just something too buzz around in for fun until it breaks down ? Could be an interesting car too make into a vintage rally car. (The 103tv model was a popular rally car after all at the time.) Looking at the wiki of this car seems to have hp between 36 - 55 hp depending on the exact model & motor tuning. The production rights of it was sold too a company in India 1969 on the 1100D called Premier Padmini which is a clone of this pretty much.
