Since 1998 this man's voice has grown up with me. As a teenager...he explained my confusing anger. As a young adult he empathized with me when I was heartbroken and when I was in love. Here I am near 40 and his voice still makes me feel understood

2 things... 1. How the hell is he nearly 50??? Someone has made a deal with somebody. 2. Its phenomenal how he can sound this melodic and hit these notes, but as soon as he masks up he can shatter ear drums with his growl. The most talented musician around, I swear!

This song saved me, I was in a abusive relationship in 2021, it fucked me up. I was so full of life, i was just the fuckin best, I became something better after 9 years of abuse and cruelty before, I became soemthing beautiful and it was taken from me I spent 2022 and 2023 healing but this song helped me realize and remember who I was, and I was like “fuck….” I’m becoming that girl again :) thank you…. I know exactly what you're talking about one faithful night I went out to stop a projectile if you will and Slipknot came on over the radio grabbing my interest so I stopped and listened and the following weekend I walked around Worcester Boston area and saw them performing now 20 years later I see here with my wife and kids not having a terrible life.

For me it was how much my father loves life. When I was in my teens and wanting to floor it and take my hands off the wheel I remembered when my dad told me he sees life as a game and if you take yourself out of the game you never get to see how much you win before it's over.

I was lucky enough to be a 11 year old kid when slipknot first hit the scene and I love them for being another band that opened my eyes to music, especially metal. But as for this, it's just wrestling music. It's boring and been done so many times by so many artists and also been done better. This is just safe rock. But thats just my opinion. I'm a music snob when it comes to metal just like Corey is But anything he's done other than slipknot has just been very safe and for the masses

2 days ago I had no idea of who Corey Taylor was. I guess I've been living under a rock. I'm 53 and have shared such similar circumstances in life except for the cool rock band career. I can't help but feel a connection and I'm grateful for his brutal honesty. Much love from a new fan.

I just heard this on the radio. I pulled into my drive and immediately looked it up. Didn't know the song name or band but the line, 'It's only my heart that you're taking' brought me here. lol. Going right into my workout music!

Damn now it's about 23 years listening to your music. It all started back in 2000 or so as my cousin intruduced me to slipknot. And hell yeah you developed so much man, i honestly respect that effort and everybody got to agree that you are one of the worlds best vocalists ever. 🔥🤘🏻🖤

You were, are, and always will be a very creative and thought provoking songwriter. It's pretty amazing all these years have gone by with Slipknot and Stone Sour your never short on ideas or material and now your on a solo project what??
