Tbh yhis just makes Corki another tristana where top and jungle can go double AP and have corki and anothrr AD carry. This is definitely not going to hurt corki in midlane. They are just killing AP corki. Mid Corki helps him to scale quicker.

Honestly sad to see corki lose the magic-damage theme he had for years. It felt quite unique to have a character that could build crit/AD but could play on a team with other AD characters and not get countered by armor as nearly all his damage was magical. I really felt the biggest two issues he had in pro play were: 1) the package, in general, was far far more powerful in a coordinated professional team that could plan around the roaming and the occasional hard power spikes much more adeptly than an average team of ranked players ever could. 2) His playstyle of being very poke heavy with the ability to provide his own all-in burst followup to capitalize on enemies he already whittled down was also hard to play around when he was already in a dominant position for sure. I'm glad to see package get removed, but I would've liked to see changes centered more around changing how he functionally plays in a minute-to-minute/second-to-second perspective, rather than changing the way his stats scale and the types of damage his abilities do. I'm hopeful that mayybe riot still got there though, by making R cooldown dependent on auto attacking. But idk, it's always hard to know. Either way though, I'm sure there'll be something absolutely busted that you'll find and riot will have to fix shortly after release, as with most champs :)

So they basically took everything that made Corki unique. His package and magic damage is what separates him from all the old adcs rn

Tbh, Corki needs a full VGU. I think they should have just pushed the package and whole Walkyrie skill to R. And move rockets to W. And they could also modernize it a bit, so the stronger variant would require holding the skill to prepare it, while tap would result in a quicker dash with much less dmg and refunded CD.

Yay we have a season 1 champion in the game. Awesome. Really excited to see how s1 designed champ will match up to the 200 years champs we have been getting recently.

this makes me rather sad, im perfectly fine with hybrid corki the issue was the package. honestly the issue in my opinion was most of smolders kit would have worked for corki, i mean think about it strafe firing in a helicopter makes perfect sense.

Maaaaaybe there is a way to skip Manamune. Or just sit at tear for early mana and go into trinity/crit asap. Corki update from few min ago puts even more emphasis on crit. Early tear into trinity+crit items (delaying manamune) may be a good option. What do you think?

The corki package was just so unique for a Passiv and now its just a normal passiv like every other passiv this is kinda sad the changes on the Spells are nice to see but i would like to have the package passiv back on him it was just the one thing that was making Corki to Corki

Honestly think trinity force will be bait on him. Just going Essence reaver provides him with infinite mana for all his ability spam and his autos actually hurt now so that going full crit is definitely viable

To be honest, its more confusing that he is being pushed towards a crit build when sheen is getting removed from Essence Reaver. Seems like the item and champ teams are not on the same page.

I like the idea of having Corki's old empowered W ability (with the boosted movement speed and empowered W recast available) if he holds maximum charges on his ultimate rockets, but with the empowered W going on a long cooldown after use and using all rocket charges. Would be cool for mobility and, with a few nerfs or stat changes, would be cool for Corki as that was a major part of his kit.

Does the passive true damage work with on hit ? Like with BotRK for example ?

Yeah, I like the changes, i mained him back in season 3/4 so this is a welcomed change.

The thing is as far as I can remember I played Corki nearly exactly like an ADC so this will be good for my playstyle But it is going to be so sad now that I can't randomly decide to build things like Lich Bane or Zhonyas anymore

corki should be reworked where similar to pre reworked urgot once he lands his q on a champion he can quickly fire his missiles which home onto the target. the missiles can be intercepted by other players and monsters and if he its multiple champs with his q, the missiles will be split between them. This'll make him more character defining as with this rework he basically is a worse ezreal.

I've found Triforce Corki to be a far more consistent carry in ARAM (got a two pentakill game with it even) so I love sheen proccing Corki already. This is an absolute win (particularly if Rito can tune his numbers back up to Rift viability) but I will miss the package. That thing could turn games around if you were good with it.

i find presence of mind to give enough mana regen. My build so far has been Trinity, navori, ie, pen and probably round it off with some lifesteal/defensive. If you get far enough you sell boots for phantom dancer. You can also go conq because of how easy it is to stack it

Love the changes, corki will be a real champion now in soloq. I am just sad about his passive. I thought making the % of bonus true damage scaling with the numbers of instances of damage in a fight could be rewarding as an adc that stays in fight. It would make corki look for more damages with his e and would make him use his w for going in (like he used to with the package). I am sure Riot can find something more fun/interactive to give him as a passive. But the changes are already satisfying.

Man I still remember when corki could reveal stealth champs, wards and traps with his Q it was so bonkers. Plus he was gated behind 6300ip so he hardly got played and people didn't know what he was capable of.

I'd argue there are fringe cases where Navori Flickerblades are a good option if there are a lot of bruisers you can potentially kite away from or reposition, but I agree that the core build is muramana, triforce and IE. The question is if you do go PD or another crit AS item, do you go for 75 with Scimitar/Shieldbow/or a last whisper item be fine with 50% and have something like Maw or another alternative non crit item? Not too sure why they took off sheen from ER and hope they consider bringing it back but MAYBE you can get substitute it for muramana.

Eh, I build ER --> I.E --> PD on him with AS boots early and it feels quite good to just CS and wait for that 3 item powerspike. Playing him without tear is fine as long as you get ER first and run Presence of Mind + Manaflow band on him. Legend Bloodline+ Doran's blade gives enough lifesteal for most teamfights as long as you space properly.

Does Corki still do magic damage with his Q and R? Old Corki (before package) did a healthy mix of AP, AD, and True damage, making him a true tribrid damage dealer.

I think this is a good change overall as his build is in a weird state of needing AD for damage ratios but needing magic pen from AP items to apply that damage, but i will miss how weird he is right now and i do hope they keep the AD caster side of him intact

Corki's roots WERE in AP. He was legit OP in season 3 because of this. Raining missiles from the fog of war that do a fourth of the ADC's HP. And don't forget that Q was an instant cast burst so it was basically impossible to miss lol.

I might be a casual but yeah I barely saw corki being played anyway. I know his package is an absolute iconic part of his kit, but beyond being recognizable, he wasn’t being played nor was he tuned to be played by normal people

His early roams and teamfight shifting power with package were his identity for years. Now he's just a budget vayne who ironically requires more gold to come online. IE and Triforce are expensive as hell, and starting tear just feels bad early.

I do think they should give him more. For example: his Q reset AA his E if hit stack up attack speed by X(low) amout Finally, his 3rd R can be crit.
