Most of the LED’s on this tractor cost $10 a piece from Amazon.

@@Thomasfarmstn the ones I’ve got on my Deere we’re probably about the same price 😂 I had a light bar on my last one, but I’ve not found a good place to put it on tractor I’ve got now. I snagged it off a trade in when I worked for a dealer 😂

Thanks for sharing the video Russ. Enjoyed the live the other night. Good luck with the rest of your planting. That subscription junk with Deere is another reason to not run their equipment anymore. Far as a combine John Deere would have to do something outrageous for me to leave a red machine for their machine. My opinion. I have owned both brands and I have ran other brands too and Deere has good stuff but it is overrated and the old red equipment is always ready to work. Can't wait to see your stands and see the test plots if you show them. Especially when you shell it. God Bless you and your family and again I hope you have a great growing season.

Deere stole the axial flow design so not any better.

Hello Russ enjoyed your video thankyou. You know watching this and other videos I'm not convinced that all this technology is the way to go. With a $800.00 annual fee that does not sit well with me either after all you bought a new planter from Deere. Your fuel cap there needs be a tether there so the cap remains hang there while fueling because this is not the first time people have lost cap and wont be the last we all do it. See you then have a good day.

Yeah that’s Mother Deere for you.

Great to see planting corn into the standing cover crop. Are you using chemical termination because you have it and not a roller crimper? RCs are pricey! I found two passes (down and back) with a cultipacker or other smooth roller on the return trip bends any stand ups back over the other way and they all stay down flat. I roll after the corn/beans get out of the ground.

I’m burning down a few days before planting. That was flown on with a plane. The field in the video was thicker than I wanted. In the past I always had good luck leaving it standing.

The first clip they were having problems with the vacs but soon got it figured out. That was a neat setup, homemade.

Had one, we have a local dealer but no support. Looked at the new CIH 8 row at Louisville. Does not fold or pivot.

I’ve had several planters and the best John Deere planters I had was a 12row stack fold 30in vac planter I do not like pull type planters

I miss my old Case IH 1200. It had bells and whistles so after about 15 years I was having problems. Unfortunately I don’t have a good reliable Case IH dealer.

Hi Russ how's everything going with y'all there I wouldn't count on john Deer planters why they are not that good me I would go with CaseIH or international planters and you're not getting good acreage with that planter get the best
@Thomasfarmstn2 ай бұрын
The planter itself isn’t bad, I’m just disappointed in some of the options.

Probably won't work with an older gen 3 monitor with a permanent unlock either?😖 That would be enough to piss me off too. I suppose a guy could put ag leader stuff on that one and probably increase the value of it substantially🤣
@Thomasfarmstn2 ай бұрын
Ag leader clutches and Outback Guidance is what I’m checking into. Ditch the Deere stuff.

Hello, Russ! One thousand dollars discount per separator hour is almost unbelievable! So, the X9 does not meet the expectation created by Deere propaganda?!
@Thomasfarmstn2 ай бұрын
I’m sure they are nice machines but seems that the price is greater than the hype.
