The Corona Arch Trail is located just 14 miles outside Moab, Utah along the Potash Road. This is one of our favorite hikes in the area and it is not even in a National Park. The Corona Arch Trail is 2.5 miles round trip with 400 feet of elevation gain. The trail is family friendly and clearly marked. There is no fee for hiking the Corona Arch Trail.
There are also views of another large arch called Bowtie arch so be sure to check out that one as you hike towards Corona Arch.

Cairns are very useful in desert. The Corona and Bowtie arch trail is good with a little bit of scrambling. I think your family would enjoy it. Pack up enough water and snack. Let us know if you ever go there. Thank you very much for your lovely comments!

Love those time-lapses you do looking through the arches with the clouds. Cables ladders and trains on this hike, just missing a big waterfall next to the arch. LOL. I wonder is some people freak-out and double mask because if the arches name. LOL The landscape is so beautiful........one of these days we will make out there. Until then I will just keep watching your experiences. Have a great week.

Yes, a waterfall would be perfect! We did this hike before the virus hit and from what I have read, I believe people have to hike on popular trails with a mask in Moab. It's a great hike, you would enjoy it. No stream or bridge to cross ;D Thank you so much Lance, have a great week too!
