Thankfully, I was notified that I have written 1988 in the pre title credit sequence instead of 1987. I really, really really hate Gail Tilsley story archs. It gives her a chance to be over dramatic and she doesn’t have the chops to pull it off. And besides her whole divorce just seem contrived and came out of nowhere. The divorce set her up for more loony story archs. I can’t believe she’s still on Coronation Street.

There used to be a bureau at the Irish police HQ in Phoenix Park, Dublin, that dealt specifically with a similar team at the Met police in London, regarding kids who had been taken from mainland Britain to Ireland (à la OurBrian®). It used to be quite a common occurrence as you don't need a passport to travel over on a ferry.
