You are bringing joy and entertainment to so many, and nostalgia to most as well I'm sure. I grew up in the UK watching Corrie in the 70s, then moved to the US. Watching this now in my mid-60s is a real treat. Anyone else find their tea intake increases greatly when watching? 😅

There was a tradition that no fireworks were sold from The Kabin as Len Fairclough didn't like them. Len stated that himself way back in the 70's whilst in the original Kabin on Rosamund St.

Jacqueline Pirie did such a great Northern accent. Shes actually Scottish. Its a pity she quit acting as she was fantastic as Linda.

Loĺ 😆 Watching Spider & Toyah camping Reminded me of the Hippie movement in the early 1970s After finishing 6th form & before starting Uni, me & some friends took a year out to travel round the United Kingdom & Europe, finding Hippie Communes or communal farming Co - Ops in which you could work the land for which you received a small daily money allowance plus food & board. It was a brilliant time & we learned to work & share & pick up argiculture tips, make great friends, contacts etc. It was a good time to do this kind of travelling, ie in the 1970s It was much safer then & the communities were genuine & no rip off merchants. Everyone was kind to each other & we worked in harmony & symbiosis, with honest toil & labour in exchange for food, which was a communal event everyone taking turns to cook etc & places to sleep! Yes we sometimes honked of horse manure or didnt wash too often but we learned from some others how to clean ourselves with leaves & Herbs to keep fragrant & hygienic. Gathered so much knowledge about the land Herbs, vegetation, cooking, building natural shelters, even weaving cloth, baking with natural foods. Seems so long ago & i for one wouldnt go where we went then, In todays climate & conditions Its sad really because the innocence is lost now & resrictions in place disallowing entry in to certain places, areas & countries. I also loved our British Pop Festivals! They were Amazing! Camping out for 3 days in rainy muddy fields listening to the best Rock bands in the World.... Like The Stones, Led Zepplin, Cream, Deep Purple, Free, Black Sabbath, Status Quo, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Groundhogs Hawkwind, Mott the Hoople, Humble Pie, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Motorhead, Bowie, etc Seeing these bands live & didnt cost the average monthly mortgage either! It was truely wonderful Tickets for these events costing £3 to £7 for 3 day events with top bands was so marvellous. Thanks EHS 🇬🇧👧🕊

Spider has to be the oddest bod that has ever appeared in Corrie Hes not exactly ugly Hes no way handsome Hes got the most " Roman " nose ive ever seen on an actor His face is very elongated His hair is... peculiar His eyes are like popped currants With rubber lips.... yet... There is definately something about him that is wierdly attractive! As an artist/painter, i adore his face as its full to busting with character! His angled face & body structure With sharp definity, smooth planes & clefts & joints are facinating A marvellous face for an actor His attire & hippie ethos is superb on him. Spider Nugent is a person once seen, never forgotten & his " green" beliefs, vegan diet Humanitarianism & sweet nature endear him to the female species! No wonder Corrie kept him in for a decent stint! Hurrah for them! Next to Spider theres the sweet natured & quirky Roy & his lovely Lady, who became most loved characters. Thankee EHS 🇬🇧👧

How right she was, because Emily in this episode in almost as clever as Simon Templar!

At 3:46:31 Natalie made a good point. It is a pity Toyah did not see it that way when her fiancee John Arnley and Maria had an affair. Rather than face the fact that John was a rat that would go for the first pretty woman he sees, Toyah found it easier to blame Maria and hold a long term grudge against her. That is what I call sheer obstinacy. What a pity that Toyah is not like Natalie. Natalie is a very fair person.

Her pushiness is immature and selfish and, for someone who keeps banging on about no one treating her like the adult she claims to be, she acts like an entitled brat. She has no conscience about taking advantage of Emily by squatting in her house and doesn't even take responsibility for creating an obvious fire hazard. Then she shoves responsibility for the subsequent fire clean-up onto Spider. She's the kind of person who wants what she wants, blames others for any fall-out, and never owns her mistakes.

When David made a pass at Maria 7 years and 4 months later Audrey found it easier to blame Maria just because David was her grandson. Also in 2018 Audrey decided to hand the running of the Salon to David rather than Maria which left Maria very peeved. When Maria tried to prove her worth Audrey decided to take a dislike to her. Deep down underneath she is worse than Mike Baldwin.

So he surely won't be her first choice if she ever needs help again.
