(I live in Paris; an ex-girlfriend was a curator at the Louvre.) I was one of the ones that the "bot" replied to. At first, I was sure it was a bot, but like playing along to see how hilarious the conversation can get. As the conversation went on, though, I started to think that it was the actual Seth Myers because of the constant grammatical errors. It's already been 49 episodes of corrections?! Man, Seth, you and your team took a platform as specifically designed for one medium and hit them all during the pandemic. So glad your management team listened to you after you listened to your team about what's trending or what's be new down the road much more early on than anyone else. While others scrambled your team saw the data and innovated for the new instead of struggling to preserve the past. I was a fan well before 2020 and am so happy to be here now.

the thing about "assault rifle" is that it's a recognizable and accurate term for a group of weapons that fall under the definition of the term. When we talk about assault rifles, we are NOT talking exclusively about an AR-15. We are talking about assault rifles - a group of weapons with only one purpose - to kill a large number of humans in a very short period of time. The follow up question to someone who pulls out the tired rhetoric about the correct name of the AR-15 would be "I'm not talking about that weapon, I'm talking about assault rifles, which does in fact, include the AR-15, but is certainly not limited to it. We don't want to ban ONLY AR-15s...we want to ban assault rifles. Stop trying to change the meaning of the term we are using." Correction: l said it once last week and I'll say it again. It's a fanedit. Not a meme or fanart. It's in the format of a classic meme but is it a meme? No. Fanedit. All of them are wonderful things and can crossover often, but the orginal Wally Two Trees pic was a fanedit. Memes can include fandoms like Rupaul's Drag Race, Supernatural, or The Boys. We regularly see reaction gifs become memes from shows and stuff, but a meme can exist outside of the fandom and the joke/humor can land right no matter what. Fanedits can include memes but have a specific fan audience in mind. Like an inside joke. Like if you ask about the mishapocolpyse you'll get a bunch of folks who were on Tumblr cackling. But the rest of them will be like "why are you spamming pictures and gifs of Misha Collins?!" The meme is only relevant to the people who experienced it. Like "Winter is coming." for the G.o.T. fans. Fanedits can be serious, funny, or sad. But they are always editted photos. Fanart is built from the ground up usually. The video editting and photo editting fans out there are really good and they deserve nice things because they have skills as do fanartists. I am very disappointed both in you, Seth, and the graphics department, since I know there has to be at least one person who sees the difference here since it is their job to edit photos for joke emphasis. Do not make me explain this again or else I'll write a fanfic to describe the difference again! That was sarcasm to be absolutely clear. I will shout out to everyone on the team who makes "Corrections" so fun! Just want to point out that currently there is a Picasso exhibit at the Louvre of 450 paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, photographs and other archive documents, including some pieces that have never been exhibited before.

I used to find Corrections funny, now I find it comforting and sweet. I actually got a bit hurt when Seth said "I never want to meet any of you in person." (I know it was a joke and it's true he doesn't anyway.) But he sort of gives the impression he cares about how some viewers watch what he says so closely and about how all the others want to see how he'll react. It actually gives the impression it's sort of a two-way show. Particularly the way he ended this one. I mean (ahem), you said [blank] wrong, Seth. Criticism. No sentimentality.

I remember listening to Seth say "acronym" and thinking, "I FOUND A CORRECTION AND I CAN'T COMMENT BECAUSE I AM DRIVING!" Go JACKALS!!!

I laughed so hard so many times this Corrections, as usual. And the Werner Herzog moments are my absolute favorite bits from Seth's impersonation to the film references.

I've been dying for Jensen Ackles to be on the show, just because I knew that shortened version would be noticed by someone. He's also just a good guy, his blooper reels from Supernatural are some of the funniest blooper reels I've seen.
