Correction RE Tape Sound: that’s not the sound of tape coming off a mouth. It’s the sound of tape being pulled off a roll (forcefully, stretching it). My first summer job was packing boxes and I know that sound well

Yiss. The gag (haha) would work, then, by just moving the sound cue to _before_ the tape appears. I'm sure we're not petty enough to then point out there isn't a tearing sound at the end of it!

I’m currently an Intern at Late Night and I can confirm that nobody is exactly sure what Shoemaker does. I just know that Seth flinches whenever he walks by him

Though I appreciate Seth’s learning progress as it comes to defenestrations, I must say I’m disappointed the crochet/knit beef of the past did not seem to have a similar kind of long lasting impact. That adorable jackal from the PO box is crocheted, not knitted!! 😅

OBJECTION: The tape sound effect isn't the sound of tape coming off of Seth's mouth, it's the sound of tape coming off the roll. So it's the right sound effect, just delayed by about 10 seconds. I'm guessing it's the guys in Australia again.

I know it's a good segment when I have to clamp my hand over my mouth to stop myself from making too much noise laughing while watching at work. Best last minute ever! I was a little sad that it was ending already, even though he warned us it would be short, and then the music and credits started and I was immediately elated. This many episodes in and Seth's still able to delight us in new ways!!

Actually that tape sound isn't the sound of tape being pulled off a mouth (as a scientist, Seth should feel free to test this via experimental method to prove that it isn't). It's the sound of tape being pulled off a roll of tape. So it's the step _before_ it'd go on a face in the first place.

I had a roll of duck tape handy at work and tested it out. I can confirm it's true. The sound of it being pulled from the roll of tape matched. The sound of it being pulled off a mouth is my scream.

Apparently none of it! He's said in a few different interviews that he doesn't let anyone in on what he's doing so it can be a surprise (besides having to communicate whatever prop/FX/tech support he needs to the appropriate staff, I assume)

I’m wondering how many people are in agreement with me that adding music to ‘jokes Seth can’t tell’ was a good move? Loved it. Personally, I thought it was great & I love when Amber cracks up. I also don’t think it’s ‘breaking’, it’s just too funny not to laugh.

SETH and co. I am recovering from Covid (damn school kids and their germs😢) and this was the funniest corrections in a long time. I adore this show, and if I had TV I would watch nbc and your show but I just do not. Thank god for KZfaq and corrections and all the jackals for being in this comment section each week.

My world will be infinitely improved it all obscenities are meeped out (instead of being beeped or bleeped out) in all shows for the rest of time as a result of this episode of corrections. Also, I watched the credits and I'm not ashamed to be that person who stayed for the credits. If there were a Sea Captain Poll asking if Corrections should always have credits, I would vote "Yes, definitely".

it is quite possible that this was the funniest corrections ever,, i had to pause it three times till i'd stopped laughing & had to dry my eyes before continuing, plus several guffows, laughs, chortles & sniggers & two applause breaks for the nice 'callbacks', excellent writing & perfectly timed delivery (from a Scottish frankie boyle fan)

Ok guys: my jr high mascot (Brooks, Canada) was the RoadRunner and our actual cheer for bball and volleyball was “Meep Meep, ZOOM!” So now I think of how intimidating we were as 14 year old girls yelling “F@&k off, ZOOM!” to the other teams… ha ha ha!!!
