The Planck length and Planck interval are the limits, though. According to current physics, there is nothing smaller. Spacetime itself breaks up into a foam as you get down to that level.

But its an abstraction that comes from an idea that universe is granual and is made of bits of information that can be quantified. Susskind has cood lectures on the topic, but in reality we have no idea how anything really works on large scale or in small scale.
@russellcurtis6334
@russellcurtis6334 Жыл бұрын
I remember reading somewhere that a planck length is comparable to a micron (one thousandth of a millimeter) in the same way as a micron is comparable to the entire observable universe; so the size of a human being actually leans more toward being “big” than it does “small” when you are comparing all possible scales.

I love how you showeed what is closer to the real representation of the electron probability regions or "orbitals". Could you do a follow up video about electron captures when converting a proton to a neutron, and talk about how the expected half-life of the particle can actually change with relativity? (When you stretch time out to match the experience of the sub-atomic particle travelling at relativistic speeds, means that time moves slower for the particle than the "outside world" at a relative stand-still.
