Corroseal Review

Testing out Corroseal on my 49 Chevy 3100. This product is great and is super easy to use.

Jay Dighsx Definetly try it out. It was very easy to use and gives great results. Plus you can’t beat the cost per sq/ft coverage! Good Luck! I’m hoping to pick up a MII kit here in next couple months to get some more content going on the 49 Chevy.

You said it needed rust to start the process, i didnt see much rust on the bottom of the panel dit it still convert to primer?

Garage Buildz n Fab oh thats sweet, ever tried to sand a small bit down after you let the corroseal dry? To see if theres still rust underneath

danny graafland I haven’t tried sanding on it but I would think that you would find rust as most of these products just encapsulate the rust.

Just wondering if you top coated this with paint after or if you’re able to leave it as is

Jaren Bouchard I left it as is for the inside of fenders but I top coated frame rails. As far as UV protection I think it’s ok to leave it but you should check there website to double check.

Awesome I have an old Ford car that I wanted to put Corroseal on the undercarriage I removed all undercoating but it still has a thin layer of paint will it work through the paint? And what can I use to wipe it down to clean it off?

ben rodriguez You can apply it over paint but it doesn’t really work well or do it’s job properly that way. As far as wiping it off, you just let it dry. No need to wipe off.

Sorry, been really busy and working through an injury. I did manage to get the brakes plumbed and engine and trans in. I will update in a couple weeks once I get my steering components together. Thanks for the inquiry!

Everything looks good so far! I dont anticipate any issues with the product.
