For those of you who did not stick around until the end it gets worse. The pos officers never actually file the bogus charges against Mata. He was let go but because the arrest was in the system it showed him with an active warrant. So because of the active warrant he got pulled over again and cuffed and stuffed again only to be let go again. This man had his rights severely violated, cuffed and stuffed 2X for nothing!

It should be illegal for the individual officer to mute their camera. Any edits should be done by higher authority, with the entire event recording preserved for court review if needed. With no repercussions to the individual officer this will continue to happen, end qualified immunity. With false arrest and imprisonment - the offending officer needs to serve the same exact amount of time and get their vehicle towed.

Being that I grew up in Fort Worth and within miles of where this stop was done. I can honesty say that I have had my fair share of dirty cops growing up. I was never gang affiliated but somehow they would still try and stereotype me due to the neighborhood I lived in. I never had tattoos and till this date still don't, that still didn't stop them from trying to take pictures of me as a minor. That's one reason I left to join the Marine Corps, to get out of that whole situation I was tired of living in. I had no choice where my mom could afford for us to live, I was a damn kid but they treated us like criminals. Example: I walked from (Town Center) Grand Plaza down Hemphill Street all the way to Allen Street where at that time we lived. I suspicious IROC camaro kept circling my friend and I for a few miles till they decided to stop us at the corner of Allen and Hemphill. I was literally a block away from being home. They swarmed us both and immediately detained us and placed us in the back of a cruiser. Separating us, they began asking questions I had no answers to because I wasn't a drug dealer. I was 14 but looked like I was 19 due to my height and build. The female officer pressed me and threatened to take me to jail if I didn't tell them what they wanted to hear. I had no ID at that age and neither did my friend. I gave her my information and she didn't believe that I had walked that far from the mall. After about an hour of interrogation in cuffs, she tried to call my bluff and actually drove me home. My mom opened the door and asked what happened? The officer questioned if I was related and how. My mother said "he is my 14 year old son". The officer questioned her about my age, she said he is 14 and why was I with her. The officer asked if she had given me money. My mother said yes, he just had a birthday and was wanting these shoes from the mall. The demeanor of that officer changed knowing that she couldn't get me for theft, selling drugs and my age. From there on forward, I lost total hope in cops. Now I give them hell if I get stopped, I don't really but when I do, I make sure they are on their P's and Q's when dealing with me. This video brought back memories of how they tried so hard to pin crap on me for going to the mall and buying my gift that my mother worked so hard to get the money for me to have those TRIPLE WHITE K-SWISS.

I'm a female. Having said that, this little girl (cause she's not a real woman) is more dangerous than a lot of male police. Because, her ego WILL make it that much worse because she thinks she can move so quickly to taking control by breaking laws immediately, in my opinion, making her more likely to actually kill someone.

They even tried to have him sworn in, in court, for a case that he was not involved in, as an attempt to gag his journalism. When he refused to swear, the judge had him arrested and removed from the court - with accusations of 'Terroristic Treats'! Manuel, thank you for all you do! You've got them scared! Keep it up!

These cops know very well that they're trumping up bogus charges. They even admits it on their own bodycams.
