ALWAYS! I’ve been pulled over for a headlight out and after the cop walked away from window back to his cruiser 3 more showed up. I was shaking like crazy lol I was a 20 or so young woman by myself. I was terrified. A few years later I had seen what they’re capable of when my in-laws were targeted after it came out that one of their officers was blackmailing my 17yr old sis in law. She just got her license and rear ended a cop and he said she’ll go to jail if he reports it OR she can do what he says. She did what he wanted several more times. One time He dismissed her from school with a case of beer in the back of the cruiser! I’ll spare y’all the rest of the story it gets worse as the years go on. It was back in the 90’s. But let’s just say I know how corrupt and cruel they can be.

I did notice that. The backup officers appeared to be going damn near a hundred by the dash cam. That's somehow ok, but you and me doing 90 to get around a left lane camper is not safe. A two tiered legal system is inherently against our liberty. Also, you can't use your cell phone, but almost every cop has a laptop that they are allowed to use while they are driving down the road. "Official business" should not be any more of an excuse for them violating the law any more than me driving down the road to handle up on my business.

There were two really dirty cops that the people of KZfaq put in prison by calling and complaining to the Loveland CO sheriff. The video was released months after the incident was over but as soon as the video went viral those two were fired, charged, jailed and sued for breaking the shoulder of an elderly woman with dementia. those two cops really paid but it was because the public called and called and called and was so outraged at the treatment they gave to a 73 year old woman with dementia that even the sheriff said in public "we had no choice because too many people called." Those were his exact words. The people who called got justice for this woman remember that. or those two would be free to hurt more of the elderly and the weak. The more people who complain the better.

Yeah but although there has always been bad cops the majority of them were good. I’m 54 years old and remember when you could walk up to a cop and talk to them/yell at them. They’d offer you help or talk with you and not instantly pull a weapon and call for back up. They’d tell you to dump the beer/booze if you were underage drinking in a park or walking. Their saying back then was “ if I have to drive you home because you’re drinking underage and being disrespectful your dad’s gonna kick your ass!” and they would. Same with teachers- respect went both ways- you give it ,you get it….act like an asshole and you get treated like one. Shit- cops would carry baseball cards for kids( and their parents) and sit talking to you about anything. They’d ask us if we were doing good- if we had any problems or questions about life. Did this after a POS town I pass though often lied, and I then learned, taked to others in court, this is normla for them to fish and lie.
