corsa electric car review. corsa e range test and review. Is Corsa E good replacement for Leaf.
I was pretty impressed with this little city electric car range.
Are you wondering which ev to buy? Corsa E, Renault Zoe, Honda E or maybe Mazda mx-30?

It DOES have keyless (proximity) entry. Unfortunately, the car they have loaned you was manufactured before August 2020 and so needs a dealer (warranty) update to get it to be able to activate. Once the update has been performed or you get a car manufactured after August 2020 you will have keyless entry. Also, I noticed that the infotainment system has not been updated to the latest version. You can tell by the graph of the miles/kWh which is scaled for a hybrid with a Y scale of 0 to 120 miles/kWh (Supposed to be MPG). The updated version shows a Y scale of 0 to 7.5 miles/kWh for the EV which makes more sense. The efficiency on that display is reset every time you start the car. If you want overall efficiency, you should set one of the trip computers and that will cumulatively show you your efficiency. However, it is a very good car as long as you get all the updates installed. I've done several 500 mile round trips with 4 up and luggage with no problems.

Hi Danny, I'm looking at getting the corsa e and was told by a dealer that there was an upgrade to the battery around this time, I'm assuming a software upgrade rather than a physical battery upgrade which gave more range? I can't seem to find this advertised anywhere? I was told that there were different graphics on the instrument panel which was how to tell which version I was getting, could this be what you're talking about here? Thanks

The car has a really nice styling on the outside. The keyless entry would be an issue for me as well. Nice video!

I've got a Corsa e and it's definitely got keyless entry. I just walk up to it and it beeps and unlocks, unfolding the mirrors and turning on some side lights to illuminate the ground.

Corsa e was second in the list after Zoe for me. Performance/efficiency and internal space not quite as big in the corsa but it was a close choice. I found the infotainment/nav not quite as good either for me either. I’ve a feeling you’ll go for the e208 in the end! No wonder ecotricity can’t afford to fix their broken chargers, always giving away free electric!

To be honest I don't really like the look of the e208. I'll be driving MG ZS EV this Tuesday and I have the feeling it's going to be a good one 😁

Just wondering if PSA updated or tweaked the 2021 version from the 2020 version. I hear mixed opinions of the Corsa efficiency. Efficiency of the one you reviewed seems reasonable.

Corsa e has keyless entry, you turn it on in settings..Ours arrived with it turned off and we had to change setting.

@@DariuszTech It is 136ps in Sports mode and only 110 or so in normal and 80 in ECO except when the accelerator is floored. You can get the same range in Sport as in the other settings. But i have roof bars and winter tyres on and get under 150 miles in good conditions. That is on 60-70 mph roads. In the Scottish Hill Routes in the Cairngorms then range can be great with regening if the ambient temp is high.

Rubbish car, only delivery half of its ‘suggested’ mileage for ‘mild’ usage. Local dealer and Opel must agreed how to deal with customer complaints, everything you told them came back with ‘no fault’ found, how convenient is that, avoid at all cost
