So, to sum up the differences: Strafe has white background which make the colours pop out better. K70 has a larger wrist rest and has a more premium build quality. (And is slightly less wide)

I upgraded from my strafe mk1 to the mk2, and it's absolutely awesome! Highly recommend, especially if you're already using iCue for other lighting effects on your rig

Just picked up older stafe rgb (marked down) w Browns , like the guy below what a treat (pleasure actually) to type on compared w membrane. Went w strafe because of reviews saying colors more vivid due to white back plate - looks awesome ! Paired it w new M65 Pro rgb , best July Xmas ever.

To be honest both keyboards are nice and would be a good buy. The really only differences is the material the deck is made and the available switches on each. On the Strafe the desk is plastic while the deck on the K70 is brushed aluminum. I own the Corsair Strafe RGB MK 2 keyboard and find it to be nice.

Really good video, I've been wanting the Strafe Cherry MX SILENT for so long but it's been out of stock on amazon and other sites for ages. It's really confusing though, in some videos, the strafe looks different, i've noticed that yours has a volume scroll thing on the top right, but in other KZfaq videos, it does not. Why is this? To my knowledge there is only one Strafe MX silent. I really want the Strafe MX Silent but it's so hard to find...

i like the strafes lower profile. the aluminium body on the K70 , also resonates the click sounds .... rather the the plastic body ... each to their own, the K70 is very nicely built no doubt..... but the strafe works better for me.

Please do Strafe vs ROG Strix Flare. Is the customization of rog strix flare lighting as much as strafe software? Both are among only several keyboard with that reflective panel, which causes more RGB to reflect. They and Blackwidow Chroma.

I was thinking about getting the strafe because of it's vivid color scheme and such... But now seeing the K70 side by side with it... The K70 just looks better and built better in my opinion. In all honesty, I was trying to find a somewhat "replica" of the corsair k95 (I don't like the marco keys on the side) that everyone knows and loves. Seems like the k70 is the one for me... Better cough up that extra $30 for a better build.

Realize I am a little late to the party here, but one comparison I am surprised you didnt make in the video is that the K70 mk2 is basically a "baby" K95, without the dedicated Macro buttons or the swappable wrist rest. They share the same frame, and same aesthetics. With the K70 using the "textured" K95 wrist rest option. Also, slightly pedantic, but "mk2" is an abbreviation for "Mark 2". Denoting the second revision/itteration of something. "Mach" is a measurement of the speed of sound. So "Mach 2" would be twice the speed of sound, and i dont think either of these KB's are capable of that. Slightly pedantic, i know, but it made me chuckle every time you said it. I dunno, maybe you were saying "mark" and the Boston accent was coloring it?

I have a problem with the key K. It's looking like RED light is off. I can't get the same colors like the any other key, because it's not responding to red input, maybe bad soldering. Any way I can fix it? Thank you!

Neither of my model of either keyboard has the same switches as yours does lol. K70 has silver speed switches , the white and the black edition, and the strafe has regular reds. The white and silver k70 is one of my nicest looking boards with 18 silver colored steel keycaps, the standard white pbt keycaps it came with and then some grey keycaps for an accenting effect. It's been very hard for me to surpass in the eyes of any of my friends who basically unanimously Have decided the k70 white edition is the nicest looking. I actually don't agree but that's the majority opinion of 8 people. I'm a true believer in the steel series apex pro. 0.3mm 40 gram actuation? Uhm yeah, that gonna win me some gunfights

Not a bad "MARK TWO!" review "MARK TWO!" Look forward "MARK TWO!" to more "MARK TWO!" videos to "MARK TWO!" come. Jokes aside, when people ask me what Cherry MX Silent (and even Speed, the clicky variant) feel like, I tell them its like typing on Angel's Feathers. Not that I know any Angel's, but, its a nice feeling is the gist of my point lol.
