One time I went into a trio match game playing fallen mode. During that game, the other two players all of a sudden, just left the game after picking fallen mode, without placing a single tower. I, now forced to essentially play solo fallen mode with TRIO INCOME AND PLACEMENT LIMIT, have no choice but to try and beat it all by myself. The result? I won, without leaking a single enemy thanks to golden scout. It is just THAT good. Gscout will forever be my favorite golden tower for essentially giving my my first ever fallen solo, beating quickdraw, and that one game i just talked about

funny thing is that golden scout is not only useful for early game. In most event towerless TDS speedruns for molten and fallen, spam Gold scouts everywhere up the the point where it can take down a tank with support on a good map. Combine that with supports and Acells, you can easily solo fallen on most easy and normal maps.

Don’t forgot that golden soldier has flying detection meaning that you can use it in hardcore as an early game tower if used correctly. If you want to survive the early game in hardcore and you have golden soldier, have atleast 2 golden soldiers, one at level 2 and the other at level 1 (because you spent the money on the other golden soldier, you save up for the other level 2) by wave 10, once both are level 2, you should start farming (unless no one else is gonna help till mid-game)

Golden cowboy isn’t WORSE than normal cowboy, it just feels like an extremely slight upgrade. Maybe fix lvl 4-5 (also lower the prices so it pays off quicker) and it will be fine. Golden mini should get a DPS buff and maybe decrease the price, and then it would be good. Golden solider is good as it is. Decrease the cost on max lvl and then leave it untouched. Golden crook is good but should get a small placement buff. Golden Pyro should get the early lvls buffed so it isn’t almost like regular pyro Golden scout is fine, and should stay untouched.

Gso also has flying detect and its more fun to use compared to gold scout, it also overkills less enemies because it has less dph while having a higher firerate, gold scout has higher dph but a slower firerate.

i remember getting my very first golden crate a few years back (1 of 2 golden crates i ever got, the 2nd one giving me soldier) and i got golden pyro, i was a bit pissed cuz back then it was hot steaming dumpster fire but from what i've noticed it got a buff (from what i remember it did get one) and now its actually a viable option, i still want golden scout the most tho. thats for sure

Let's talk about the golden minigunner. I think that it can be put higher than the golden soldier and golden crook boss, if only because it is essentially a 3 unit in damage, making units such as ranger and pursuit useless (in some cases, because they have fd (but it is worth noting that they do not have HD )) turret, and with supports it can be equal in dps with an engineer. He is very good even in a trio, due to the fact that he is quite cheap for such a dps.

I recently got my 1st g skin. Which g crook. People just fail to see crook as a good tower because it's just a bad tower in general in it's normal form. But when i used it. It actually was really good for me. Me and one of my friend tend to duo pzp to grind coins often and we have this strat where someone gets an ace while the other farms for minis. I recently changed from mini to g crook and he actually did far better than mini could.

About that Golden mini x Accel comparasion: because you can place more of them they receive more buffs so that that makes him slightly more better if yk what i mean

G pyro is also used a lot for events so having it can be extremely nice

I'd say Golden crook boss can be higher on the list, because of it's solo capabilities. It's VERY cheap to max out and gives a high dps output for what you spend, being able to defend well in the mid game and can still help a lot in the late game if you leak some zombies like glitches because of it's unit spawning. It's a fairly good tower and it should be up higher. Also, for the minigunner, I get that you're spending a lot, but not all players have access to accelerator cause not too many people either want to buy or grind for it, making golden minigunner a good alternative, and it's still useful in gamemodes like fallen and is often useable in Pizza Party for it's ability to deal with higher health enemies very early, like the Scout miniboss. Golden cowboy also isn't entirely useless, because in hardcore it is recommended without strategy for more income due to how much more expensive hardcore costs are. That's just my opinion though.

The only bad thing about Gmini is microing it. U can either have no place to place it or no money to micro, pursuit and ranger are better and they are not that hard to get. It is better to use accel as your main dps, and for gmini, ur extra slot tower if u have a better secondary dps

I would still go gold pyro, only due to breaker spam and fallen + hardcore though. (BREAKERS ARE PAIN) However I still like the gold scout, due to how absurd it is in early game.

They buffed golden cowboy now he get 180 cash at max

Golden Pyro is also one of the best choices for hardocre in case if you want to grind gems

this is how I rate g skins: 6th: Cowboy (far too outclassed by the farm, mediocre dps, and doesn't give a lot of cash) 5th: Minigunner (outclassed by a lot of high dps towers) 4th: Scout (it's really good for early, but terrible for late and decent for mid) 3rd: Crook Boss (overpowered for mid, and pretty good for early) 2nd: Solider (really good for early, mid, and decent for late game) 1st: Pyro (early to mid game carrier, a great support tower, and perfect for crowd control)

With G crook boss on the heights map and only other supports, I got to wave 37 of fallen which is decent. Paired with Accelerator or Engineer means you can solo fallen easily.

Being a guy with terrible luck, got g pyro as my 1st golden skin BUT in the time when it was considered by far the worst g skin so i didnt use it but now i use it in nearly every loadout and have learned some things qbout it 1: at level 3 no hiddens/shadows will pass (besides 1 to 3 with 2 hp but that depends on rng and is of course only for shadows) and no mysteries/small breakers will pass at lvl 4 2: You should have g pyro at least lvl 2 by the time abnormal boss comes if you have any other early game def besides pyro (or lvl 3 to make it really easy) 3: G pyro can easily kill fallens which makes it extremely useful if you only use accels and the fallen king summons fallens and the accels are locked on the boss then the fallens will leak but placing a 2nd g pyro on the back will kill them And yes rng doesnt only have to do with mysteries it affects everything just in a much smaller scale

I honeslty think that the golden minigunner as well has a good looking skin, getting a gold turret makes it look much cooler

i feel like golden cowboy sould get like he shotgun that he have in some leaks or a eagle that unhiden hidden enemies or something that gaves him bit more useful

New Golden Crook boss and New Gold Mini is very good than old version, my personal favorite golden skin is Gold Pyro, Gold Crook Boss, Gold Mini, Gold Cowboy and Gold scout

*in my opinion* Gold soldier is just far better for solo fallen, you don’t have to worry about the hidden’s and you get way more time to farm. Also, it just fits my place style better. So for casual use I think it’s better than gold scout because of dps and overall reliability.

CORSO, golden scout have no placemet limit, he can easy solo molten and in fallen he can do a lot of things, with suport he do a lot of damage, and he is super cheap

As a golden soldier user, i can accept that 4th placement, its a really good tower when your grinding coins or just want to have a strong early game tower to carry you but golden scout is the better option for things like : quickdraw, hidden wave, lost souls, hardcore and more.

For the first golden crate I got, I got golden scout. I was so upset until everyone told me it was really good. Maybe it’s because my cousin that just started TDS said the golden scout was the same as a normal scout and I was excited over nothing. At least now I know.

I honestly think it's a tie bcuz g pyro is good for early, mid and late game due to crowd control, hidden detection and defense metling, i honestly haven't seen many strats that use g scout for early defense outside from quickdraw, and even quickdraw itslef also requires g pyro. Even though g scout is so good at early game it doesn't need to be good at mid or late game to be good, g pyro is just more versatile in my opinion. Not saying pyro is better, jsut saying it's a tie

If ypur using golden scout in fallen place 3 not near the entrance but at least some where they can see and just max them like in wave 15 or 14 and just fa until the max because 3 max scouts in fallen should be able to carry you all the way to wave 24 and then place what ever tower you have for wave 26

Golden soldier would be better if it weren't for the fact that the bursts, and the cooldowns between bursts of the Gold Variant are much slower than the normal variant.

all the g skins are good g cowboy is mainly used in solo hc strats and g scout bet for early g pyro basically same but get hidden and lead at lvl 0 and cost cheaper g soldier is good for hc and pizza party and this s years event g,mini is a godly dps option and g crook is rlly good in the early to mid like a second g scout so in my opinion which golden skins u need or want to do challenge is ur choice every g skin is rlly good it just depends on the gamemode and the user

Funny think. My first and last golden tower (for now) was Golden Scount, but I didn't like it because I got it right before his huge buff. And now, for me, it is one of the best golden skins. My top is: 6) Minigunner, 5) Cowboy, 4) Croock boss 3) Pyromancer 2) Scout 1) Soldier

Personally, this is how i think it should be ranked from worst to best, 6 is worst, 1 is best: 6- Golden Cowboy: I definitely agree that it is in last place because it downgrades the normal version, it is double the price for an extra 10 dps. Terrible value, and is just outclassed by farm. This g perk is definetly a DO NOT USE. 5- Golden Pyromancer: Yes, it is useful for reducing defense, but normal pyro does the same thing and it is a little bit cheaper at levels 3-5. Golden Pyromancer may have more dps at max level, but at that point, the enemies are so strong it doesn’t even matter, it’s only good for reducing defense. This perk is not required, but can be used. 4- Golden Crook Boss- This perk definitely is worth it. You get more dps, and a cheaper base cost: And you get almost double the dps for only 750 More! Definitely a MUST USE perk. 3- Golden Minigunner- While the perk does make it more expensive to place, it already has better value. You get a 100% boost in dps at base level for only a 50% place cost. Same thing goes for max level. You get a 50% boost in dps for only 5600 more. This perk does vary sometimes, maybe if you have to focus on other towers, it might not be necessary, but for late game, it is definitely recommended to use this perk usually. Makes an already strong tower and makes it even stronger. 2- Golden Scout- I don’t think it should be first place, but it deserves a high rank, like 2nd place. It does more dps and doesn’t even increase the cost at all at base level. It is a great early game tower, and this perk is definitely a MUST USE. The regular scout is just AWFUL AND UNUSABLE without the perk. 1- Golden Soldier- I placed this in first place because while it doesn’t have as much dps as 3 golden scouts at base level, it also has flying detection, unlike normal soldier. This is a great option in hardcore mode, as you can use the same tower to attack invisible and balloon at the same time. This allows you to farm more efficiently than having to use ace pilot and military base, as your farming won’t be as well than if you just use golden soldier. Also has better late game potential than normal scout: 54 vs 37 dps. This perk is definitely a MUST USE, and i think it is sometimes better than golden scout.
