The green cog is perfomance shifting mode on the transmission... it happens when the car is being driven hard and indicates the shift points have been altered for performance 😊

У меня на corvette c6 очень длинные скорости, 6 ступеней автомат. 3-я до 220 на спидометре) А при 200 км\ч всего лишь 2500 оборотов на двигателе)) В этом корвете всё по-другому))) I have a very long 6 speed automatic in my Corvette C6. 3rd up to 220 on the speedometer) And at 200 km/h only 2500 rpm on the engine)) Everything is different in this Corvette)))

It's amazing how slow drivers going into the passing lane just absolutely refuse to speed up even by like 10-20km/h to be courteous. Faster drivers constantly slow down for the sake of slower drivers, it's crazy that they're so inconsiderate that they absolutely refuse to compromise one slight bit, ever!

I like the route Corvette has been going since the C7. The C6 still has the old design manufacturers have been using since the 90s (Viper etc). If I will get a Corvette it will be the C6 too because of the way lower prices. You have to pay almost 20k more for the C7. Looks are not everything IMO. When the C7 drops another 20-25k in the next 10 years it will definitely be a C7 for me. But my next purchase will be a MPS 6 with 700 bhp anyway 😁 After that experience nothing will be fast for me 😂

C8 means its the 8th generation Corvette, Z06 is basically the package code.

C8 is the 8th generation of the Corvette cars hence the number 8. Z06 is just a packaging for the Corvettes. Think of it like BMWs where you can either get a M or M Competition of their performance cars. Or Audi with their Performance or Competition package.

The C8 Z06 has a complete different engine. Here we see the base Model of the C8.

C8 like 8th generation. You have the basic one which is the Stingray, 6.2 liters V8 cross plane crank NA V8 with almost 500 HP. Then the Z06 which has a 5.5 liters Flat plane crank NA V8 and at the top of the C8 , you ll have the ZR1 with a bi turbo 5.5 flat plane crank V8 (to be confirmed). The previous gen (C7) was the Stingray too with the 6.2 liters V8, the Z06 with the 6.2 liters V8 supercharged and the ZR1 with the same engine as the Z06 but with a bigger supercharger giving 100 hp more than the Z06 (755 HP vs 650 HP).
