I accidentally pulled out the circular housing thingy and out too came the visor. The circular housing went back into place (as it only fits in a certain direction) and I was able to successfully install the newer one. The pushing the visor forward to lock it into place was key to the install. I used a second-hand visor purchased from eBay. Thanks for your video.

some will call me crazy, but i’m about to delete my sunvisors. top down both positions are terrible. I always drive with sunglasses and I almost never used them for their intended purpose anyway

original looked like it had garage door opener but the replacement did not. why would you omit that convenience?

Haha. No it doesn’t come out like that on some. That notch on my 07 is so shallow you can’t get any leverage on it and it won’t turn at all. I jacked with it for an hour and finally had to pry the housing mount off. The notched cap just broke. It’s ruined now.
