The actor opens up about how he's feeling ahead of presenting during the awards show, and shares an update on how he's navigating life after his divorce from Tia in 2023 after 14 years of marriage.

He’s bragging about his achievements but when he was married to Tia he didn’t work. Tia took care of everything. Maybe if he would have been working with Tyler Perry from the beginning then he would be still married to Tia. But losing her forced him to become a man.

@thamindsabyss Cory has recently said he’s cried himself to sleep over the divorce. I don’t know how Cory is for Tia to say her divorce was like a graduation and that it wasn’t a failure. I don’t know if he was a tyrant that it was absolutely necessary for her to leave the marriage. None of us know what the real story is but in general it doesn’t seem like people take marriage seriously these days. People say grow up and get married but then divorce is legal…. Strange world we live in.

She’s really cool some of these fathers are really jealous., like Tyler Perry hired him for movie and he still doing other endeavors so now he doesn’t have to bother Tia with axing her for child support the way he was one man takes a woman for child support. Get a job is bad enough back in the day she had to pick him up at a bus stop. He didn’t have a car.

Because he knows she was being nosy. Cree may not understand he doesn't have to answer anything he doesn't want to. No one is obligated to any information. I used to be a journalist so I know. Journalists can ask anything - but no one is OBLIGATED to answer anything. Sometimes, they intentionallyl go around to the kids to get information and that's not cool though.
